oh well those are kiwi fruit not kiwis. kiwis are birds or people from new zealand and theres nothing really phallic about either of them. i don't know why americans call them kiwis cause its like if we called some amerian fruit american. makes no sense. in germany we do name foods after places though (jfk highlighted that fact) and as eddie izzard joked its a good thing he didnt do a tour of hamburg and frankfurt aswell.

Oh, I've been terribly jealous of many football benches and bicycle seats.

I have never heard anyone in the US refer to them as "kiwi fruit" -- I have heard many refer to them as "kiwi" or "kiwis" -- so, maybe the shortened name is a cultural thing.

In any event, they look like a nutsack

Totally diff than this country. People are ungrateful here...spoiled...concerned with material things while war and death is all around us. Its sad really. Not that I'm better...but I love that at the end of the work day in New Zealand...its not about getting the new plasma or what new DVD came out...or all that ****e...its about havin a barbie with friends and a few pints and some laughs. Its not a race.

Well, they are our fruit - so you have the name wrong. They are "kiwi fruit"
