I think it's worse for Stevie because of the whole shipper thing, which again I include myself although, I'm not a full-time shipper. I mean can you imagine if everyone who loved you wanted you to stay with your high-school sweetie even if you think that relationship is seriously over? If I were Stevie I would start to hate that real fast.

It's an FM thing, don't mess with perfection, and certainly not just because you want to mess with it.

And hey, *I* am allowed to complain about that, because I've never complained about the setlist before, unlike most of the posters in this thread.
You should complain to your little heart's content.....lord knows I'm going to complain about WLT if that becomes reality.

But she loves all the money and attention that comes from milking exactly 'that' for all it's worth.

She might, but I wouldn't. Plus if I were Stevie, Rickypt, carrie721 and I would be her favorite fans, because we're so cool about her singing Silver Springs on the Crystal Visions tour.

Is ass**** youngstown a suburb of youngstown? Or is it more like a village within the city limits?

I would LOVE to hear Bella Donna live. It's always been one of my favorite songs! I think she could tear it up and the crowd would love it!

Which is why it was on CV songlist for a short time.

I will be perfectly happy to see Stevie sing it to us without the scripted turning of mic to express fake anger to Lindsey. Perhaps she'll rework it a bit. The woman is capable of expressing emotion without Lindsey next to her.
THank you for saying that. seriously.

I don't get it either. It's not even a duet.
EXACALLY. not a duet. When I first heard the song on the chain box set, I was like this is a great song of stevies. My favorite version is the piano demo. Lindsey preform go your own way withought Steve. ridiculous!
PHU-LEESE. Its her damn song, and Imnot going to JUDGE it before I even hear her sing it on this tour.
(if it even happens)

Why is everyone using the excuse that it is "her damn song"? She gave it to Fleetwood Mac to produce and release! I could care less about her singing it to Lindsey, that was not my point. She used that for all it was worth to rebuild her career in 1997. I will, however, be sick if she sings it to Waddy. Comparing it to GYOW is not even fair because Stevie already has four or five other FM staples as part of her solo set. GYOW was not used to lure thousands of new fans with the whole Stevie and Lindsey love/hate drama. It feels like she is trying to rewrite history and IMHO, Silver Springs should stay part of Fleetwood Mac's history, especially in relation to The Dance. The song is a masterpiece and seeing it finally get its due in 1997 was a moment that I will never forget.

Stevie...do some SOLO hits, please. Thanks.

I had concerns about hearing that Stevie was going to feature songs from Fleetwood Mac on her (impending) solo collection. It's like "you don't mix church and state --it's just wrong!" But I've come around, because you have to look at Crystal Visions as a statement of her artistry throughout time - and not deliniate between her solo and group work. I give her credit for being a little creative with her choices:

Silver Springs - the immense magic of the song warrents it's appearance, even though it appeared in live version on the Dance, and the studio versions that appeared on The Chain box set, The Rumours re-issue and The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac....oh, and the Live In Boston disc.

Rhiannon - Yes, it never goes away - we've got the studio version, the single remix, the LIVE version, the Enchanted piano version, the Live In Boston version etc, etc. Yet, I really like the new live version -- it has power to it, and shows Stevie off for how she is today.

Landslide - What more can be said? A great live version with strings and horns! Who can complain about that?

Dreams - I guess a lot of people will/complain about this remix. But I think it gave the song a facelift and a sense of currency. I prefer this to the tired old 1977 version. And it has new vocals -- and shows she can still hit the high notes when she wants to.

Fleetwood Mac or Solo, those are her songs and I think she can do whatever she likes with them. A song can have many lives, IMO, it can be written and rewritten, performed and deconstructed, obviously as a fan I don't have to like all its faces, but it's always an intriguing challenge. Then according to my tastes, I would have preferred to listen to Storms or SOTM live but I'm also curious to hear this new Silver Springs.
