That's okay. That song annoys me anyway.

don't get me wrong. i love this song. it is one of my favourite songs of hers - always will be. i am all for owning your emotions, and singing the crap out of them. but this song is different. at least to me. i don't want to hear her sing it with anyone else - not don, not tom, and for god's sake - not chris isaak.

Yup. I adore Silver Springs and was devastated when she ditched it from the SYW tour. I caught the last live version in Atlanta, too. It should not be done with another guy. She made the song all about her and Lindsey in 1997 and that is just the way it is now!

I am pretty traumatized by the idea of her singing it with Eye Sack......

Agreed. Its just making me sick thinking about it.

So I need to know. I am hearing from another source that Stevie said on the Mark and Brian show that she is doing "Talk to Me, Silver Springs, and another surprise." Was that what was really said?

I liked how they did it on the Mirror Tour (instrumentally). By the end of the European dates I thought they absolutely nailed it.

I really need ot get another copy of Timespace. Mine broke about 7 years ago and I never knew that all these songs were different mixes.

Where does Stevie say she's going to sing Silver Springs with Eye Sack?

She doesn't need Eye Sack, she doesn't need Lindsey. SS is her song and it's a masterpiece. She doesn't need to look at Lindsey with fake anger to deliver it.

This is one song I could hear her sing over and over and over.
