Yes. There have been many famous photographers who take pictures as art- Tom Bianchi, Herb Ritts, etc. Just because some may not like the pictures, it doesn't mean they aren't art.

Not really. I just got tired of the complaining. I posted the pictures for people to enjoy. Like I said, I didn't think they crossed any lines and I wasn't looking for controversy.

Well, I was modelling the sunglasses, not the suit. But, they were both made by Speedo - so it was part of the territory. Also, I got paid a bucket of money and if the ad had been used, it sould have been like ten times that. So, that is why I did it. Moreover, I am not ashamed of it in the slightest. The one of me is not. It was for commercial use. I do have some way cool artsy ones though if anyone would like to see

There is a certain general definition of art and the one of MM clearly meet that. Moreover, certain photographers and painters are generally reknowed as artists. But, if nudity or close to it cannot equal art, then about 90% of the so called art starting from about 400 B.C. to the present is excluded

Perhaps we should let the RCC paint fig leaves on everything again or let Ashcroft spend thousands of the hungry tax payers money to cover the bare marble breasts of justice

The picture of the french rugby players was part of a series of photo shoots done for calendars, coffee table books and, in some instances, charity. So again- just because some may not like those pictures that in itself does not negate the fact that it is art.
