Fla. judge involved in Anna Nicole faces pot charge

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) — A judge who had a secondary role in the recent Anna Nicole Smith proceedings was charged with smoking marijuana in a city park, police said Monday.

Lawrence Korda was smoking marijuana while sitting under a tree Sunday, police said. Three officers who were training there saw Korda and field-tested the cigarette, said Capt. Tony Rode, a police spokesman.

The judge was not arrested. He was given a misdemeanor citation to appear in court.

‘‘Judge Korda was not given special treatment because of his status as a circuit court judge,’’ Rode said. ‘‘He was provided with a notice to appear. That’s exactly what 99 percent of other offenders would have been given for this type of offense.’’

The fight over control of the former Playboy Playmate and reality TV star’s body began in Korda’s courtroom.

If you had to hear cases like this all day long you'd probably want to get high too.

Or maybe he's using it for medicinal purposes?

I agree. I know Howard is looking like the total enabler here. But he's been at her side for many years and I think he really loved Anna. People who care for an addict sometimes can't stop themselves from letting the addicted kill themselves.

And I agree he's sweet looking too. Way more my type than Larry who has a very "Kato Kaelin" aura about him.

We need to wait until Monday morning to find out what killed Anna Nicole Smith.

The autopsy results will be announced at a news conference on March 26th at 10:30 AM.

Gary Bitner, the spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department in Broward County, Florida, where Smith died, said the findings at Monday's news conference "are going to be a significant announcement."

He added that the findings "are going to provide some resolution" in the death of Anna Nicole.

Now....

What we really wanna know is......

Death found by accidental overdose - No evidence of foul play

She was on Methadone for pain - had taken tamiflu & cipro

The injection into her buttock, that was from either B12 or HGH (Human Growth Hormone), ruptured a prior abscess thus causing the high fever (Sounds like septic shock from the infection to me)
