Yeah, it's her way of shuffling the few decks of cards she holds on to compulsively. I'll wish she would play with a full deck, so to speak, and realize she has a wealth of other songs she could perform.

Isn't it normal for an performer/artist to change overtime and strive to evolve? I see that in Lindsey, but surprisingly not Stevie. Seemingly, she has devolved into suspended animation. It's evident, with a few exceptions, in her extremely stale and musty set lists.

It wouldn't be so obvious except for the fact that she's been touring heavily on and off since the Say You Will tour ended. And in every single tour, show, appearance...it was always that limited stable of songs shuffled around.

At this latter stage of her career, I'd hope she would want to revisit other areas of her catalog other than the same old common ground. It was great to have her do cover songs. However, rather embassingly, even the casual TV viewers who happened to catch Stevie on TV at various times and years are likely to her perform the same songs. It's like "She's still singing that song!? Does she even have any other songs??"

I've been really meloncholy about not being there this go round. But I figure another $800 in tix alone to hear the same ol thing? Just a real bummer. I mean part of me still wishes I was there, the other part is so ticked that it's the same show. Jeesh.

I dunno...while I would like to see some new songs that she hasn't done before, it's always exciting to see her no matter what she sings. I'm sure I'll be up and dancing to every song like it's the first time I've heard it.

Complain all you want, folks, it was a magnificent show and worth every penny. I haven't seen Stevie this confident vocally or spirited in a performance in a long time. She looked better than I've seen her before, too - she opened with the boots and a shorter skirt, without that blasted corset that ends square at her hips (although a version of that came out later - it was so low cut, though, that most eyes never made it that far down). She had obviously lost weight since the Superbowl.

But what's more important was her delivery. I was less than impressed with her Superbowl Stand Back, so I was a little nervous about her vocals tonight. I was delighted that they were in top form. She took risks, like going high instead of montone all the time. She got so into her performance that she even did the high kick for Stand Back in her books. She exuded confidence and she seemed to really enjoy herself. I loved it, and it reminded me just why I made a site for her and Lindsey in the first place.

BTW, her changing of the setlist was a vast improvement. Starting with Stand Back amped everything up a notch - got people right into it, right off the bat.

I understand your frustrations - all hardcores, including myself, want all sorts of new and different songs. But Stevie rocked tonight. She is an amazing performer. She is an amazing singer, and she gave it all she got. She delivered, people. I think most of the people who actually attended this show will agree with me.

I am exhausted but wanted to reply quickly. I agree Nancy. Stevie was fantabulous tonight. I dunno, she was just "on". Very happy and animated, which I like.

Interesting adlibs at the end of GDW and BATB was good but not as good as the first Vegas go around. Also, unless I am deaf, I did not hear any type of new intro. It was the old Dreams intro. There are some changes in the footage shown on the screens behind her, too. Landslide had some photos that I have never seen.

There are some pretty awesome new t shirts as well. They do not look like they were made by CN, as they are actually worth buying. I really like one that has the singles on it. Hopefully someone else with more brain cells can describe it better. I. Must. Sleep. Now.

I'm thinking it's the violin intro to Gold Dust Woman. At the Hard Rock show in February, the intro was the violin intro the Melbourne Orchestra created.

He plays the same set every night as well She just tours more than he does. So, I think her unwillingness to change is more apparent.

I love her music, but am sooooo happy I did not blow a grand to go to Vegas and hear her drone the three notes she clings to for 75% of these songs.

She needs to swap out at least four of those songs. But, she never will I guess.
