I got along with everyone. Of course, when you sing in full voice "OOOOOOOOOOOKLAHOMA WHERE THE WIND . . . . . . " while loping down the halls, it is hard for people to hate youi

Actually, I was a little like Stella Mayfair in High School

We should give the entire state north of Baton Rouge to Arkansas. What the hell were you doing in "Shreve pit" anyway? God, I hate that place. Somebody should burn it to the ground. Worthless.

I hated school and aside from one or two people, I don't really care about anyone I went to school with.
We don't really have school reunions here but if we did, I certainly wouldn't go. I'm still in touch with the people I want to be in touch with, so what's the point?

Well, I don't know. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I went to the only high school in the country that didn't have a drama dept.

I didn't hate high school, but I certainly didn't enjoy it. I attended two different schools - transferred after my sophomore year to another school in the same county. Both were rural schools (the one I graduated from moreso than the other), so there was plenty of "small-town politics" BS..... so if one had a certain last name you could pretty much get away with anything.

I was kind of in the middle clique, which is the worst place to be stuck. Not popular, not unpopular, a joiner but not an over-joiner, etc. I only keep in contact with a handful of people, and most of that is sporadic. My ten year reunion is next year, don't know if I'll go or not. There's a few teachers I'd like to see more than anyone.

oh god. that's even worse. I was so mean to teachers and such a stuck up snot. they all hated me. there were only a couple I liked. and that's mostly because I constantly had visions of them in their underwear.

hello, Mr. Brackett and Mr. Ican'trememberyourlastname...are you out there? call me, k?

We were fishing in Toledo Bend in the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. It is no place I want to go back to. AND - when I graduated law school, I was offered a job there, which I actually considered taking

I'm not a freak about germs! I think I even let you have a sip of my Tostito!

Looking back on high school, I had a f*cking blast. I got made fun of a good amount (acne, being a headbanger chick) but I had great friends & we had our own little clique - we were too cool for school, baby. Plus most of my friends (and my BF at the time) were all between 2 & 4 years older than me, so I didn't really hang much with the people I went to classes with. I went to both my proms - what a bore they were.

I didn't bother with the 10 year reunion - I still see lots of those people around, didn't feel the need to go. But I'll try & make the 20th in 2013 - I like Sparky's take on the whole thing. I think it will be fun & interesting & sad & hilarious.
