did anyone else feel as though simon was using a bit of reverse psychology on the viewers last night? clearly, unless you're helen keller, you're aware haley bit the big one again last night. she was absolutely terrible -- regardless of whether or not she forgot some lyrics. yet simon gave her a good review when paula and randy said she didn't do so well.

anyone else feeling this is a response to last weeks results and votefortheworst?

I think Simon was turned on by the way she way she decided to wear the shortest dress imaginable while sitting on that chair while starting her song in that silly whispery voice.

...or that it was incredibly short.

I'm wondering the same thing...

they should just eliminate 6 at once and get on with the competition.

I thought she gave them good advice, especially about what the song is about and what they should try to express.

I'm so glad no one sang I'm Coming Out. Eeeegad. At least we were spaired 'Muscles' too LOL.

But where was 'Reflections,' 'Someday We'll Be Together,' and 'No Matter What Sign You Are?'

I'm sad to see Brandon go. He was my fav male contestant. Haley needed to go. She's awful. Even last night when they sang their group medley, she stuck out like a sore thumb and was off key (again). But the night before Simon was thinking with his dick and swayed the votes. Not to mention the whole little skit they did after her song. Spending that much time on a contestant after they perform (badly) will garner sympathy votes.

ITA with you about Reflections - I kept waiting for it. One of my fave songs ever.

And I did like Brandon, but he wasn't singing up to his potential, IMO. He def. could have done a lot better, but he never shined after he made top 24. Obviously I would have preferred Sanjaya or Haley to go, but that's life.

I do find it a bit odd that Sanjaya was in the bottom 2, since votefortheworst.com was pushing really hard for him, and dialidol.com predicted that he was in the top few contestants as far as vote count.

I was waiting for I Hear a Symphony. It's perfection.

I missed last night's elimination show, but did anyone do Upside Down? I thought maybe Diana might have performed it last night, but probably not. They would have gotten the crowd going with that one IMO.

The grou did a HORRIBLE rendition of Stop In The Name of Love/Where Did Our Love Go.

Diana sang a popular song, but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. Something about "love".

FUG.

I just was notified that I have two American Idol tickets to one of the shows for this coming week. It's nice that they give me LESS THAN A WEEK'S NOTICE!

yeah, something about I love you more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.

I thought she didn't really take a lot of her own advice...
