True, but who really wants to hear about the intense looks she shared with Mick and the director?

But still, I'd love a play by play.

The reason I ask is that she makes it sound like she called prince without knowing him and he showed up to work on SB.
ugh, the whole Prince thing is so messed up. I think she DID already know Prince before Stand Back, backed up by what she said in the commentary, but she also once mentioned a trip they took to his house, where he was speeding, and she was still in her stage clothes, coming from a FM gig. That had to have been during Mirage then.

What I think really happened with Stand Back is that she indeed had someone contact him and she was just surprised he showed up, not because she had never met him before, but that he'd want to do something for her album. She said he then walked out of her life, but obviously they had met up a few more times after that. The story about the Purple Rain premiere comes to mind, and the story about when she was sick and he was at her house.

Yes, it's probably Stevie's loveliest video, but also, by far, her creepiest. I would love to know what she has to say about that banquet table scene where all of the rats are eating up the food, or the whole thing about those creepy boys (wearing masks) in the trees. An homage to Carly Simon? I would imagine even Stevie must have gotten the heebies.

That video is full of symbolisms. I love it. I hope she'll reveal who came up with what in that video and why.

But she probably won't.

I can't wait for what she is saying about the treadmill scene in the "new" Stand Back video. Probably something like "Well....we had a bit of rest alcohol from the stiff drinks of the last video. We were young and it look funny, so we didn't care."

It is a rather straightforward take on The Faerie Queene putting people to sleep after a huge dinner.

That's right, I've heard that before. I've never read it though.

I'd still like to know who came up with it and why. And if I remember correctly there weren't any black swans in The Faerie Queene right?

I do not remember - but it could be as swans are often in folklore.

She does know how to ride. At least to a point.

I remember reading about her riding a horse around the grounds of Le Château, when they were recording 'Mirage.'
She's also riding in the "Little Lies" video.

I'm also assuming they never would have let her up on one, if they thought she didn't know what she was doing and were afraid she could get seriously hurt. Especially not during the filming of a video.

Take it up with my friend who keeps saying that he'd still do Stevie because she still has those blow job lips. He's fascinated with her lips.

p.s. Did they wash last.fm too hot? I see yours shrunk also.

As far as the "Uncle John/Uncle Bill" thing... I wonder if his first name was John... Jonathan William Nicks... but they called him "Bill."

I know lots of people who are referred to by their middle names, because another family member... dad, grandfather, uncle... has the same first name. Such as my friend Mike, whose first name is really Keith... but in order to avoid being confused for his dad, he goes by Mike (his middle name).

So when she has said, "his name was 'John,' too," that doesn't have to mean that that's what he WENT by.
