Talking Ft. Pierce~ Front row and I met Lindsey!

First off, the venue was really interesting~ a restored theater in a little downtown area that seated 1200. It was really full~ hardly any empty seats! I have never sat front row at any show except Ft. Lauderdale the other night and tonight. Tonight was extra nice though~ the pit~ the first 3 rows WAY up front had these nice big, leather chairs while the rest of the theater had regular ones. Anyway, Lindsey was much closer to the edge of the stage than Ft. Lauderdale (b/c of the shape of the stage) This was JUST fine with me~ I could see his fingers move clearly.

He was in great spirits tonight. He seems to be really into the new drummer~ I think he called him something like "CubanRuban" as a nickname or something like that~ lol! Anyway, he told the audience that he has only been with the group for the past 2 shows and is new on this leg but is "kicking ass!" During his drum solo, Lindsey parked himself, drank water and sat crossed legged and seemed to be loving this guy (so did Brett)!

During GYOW guitar share, he leaped across this section of the stage blocked by speakers to land on this little part of the stage way off to the side to play for the folks off to the right. He seemed to know people in the front row again and there were a few folks from the Ft. Lauderdale show the other night. Setlist was the same~ still had "Turn it on" and ended with "Shut Us Down".

So, after the show I talk my really sweet husband into walking around back where the truck and motor home are. I see a white van with a driver walking around waiting. I tell him~ they are going in that van, I just know it! So, everyone was gone by now and I approached the driver and asked "Is Lindsey taking pictures with fans as he comes out?" He said he didn't know, but that "the boys" would be out in a few minutes. I couldn't believe that no one else was waiting! Anyway, sure enough after a few minutes, he comes out and heads for the van. I approached him and said "Lindsey, could I get an autograph?" He said (while carrying a bottle of Coke), "Sure, let me put this down" (meaning the bottle). He signed my CD and my husband piped up and said that I'd been to 3 shows and Lindsey said "Thank you for that." Then my husband asked if he could take our picture and he said "Sure". He did and I just had the BIGGEST smile~~ We thanked him and left. They really seemed in a hurry to get to the airport b/c within a minute they had passed us on the road.

~Wow, I finally met him. I just cannot believe it~
