Default Torrent terror -need help

For the life of me I can't figure out the whole torrent thing. Seeing how that's become a favorable way to trade stuff, it's frustrating that I can't share what I have or obtain what's out there.

I've noticed a lot of posts citing some great shows, like the Shine Club show where Stevie performed "It's Only Love" with Sheryl Crow. That motivated me to try again (I attempted it a year or so ago and gave up). So I registered with Dime-a-Dozen. But after several hours of reading a lot of uncomprehensible technical babble, I'm still at a loss of how to proceed. eeh!!! ahh!!

Can anyone please share the secret? Perhaps provide a "Torrents For Dummies," a simple breakdown of what/how to do it? I'm ready to hang myself.

The easiest way for bit torrent dummies these days is probably to download Opera (the browser). Then when you navigate to a torrent site with Opera you can simply click on the torrent link and it will work just like a regular download.

Don't know if Dimeadozen allows Opera as a bit torrent client, but there's lots of other free clients out there for everyone to use. UTorrent is a good one.

Go to the Chit Chat forum. There is an entire thread at the very top of the page that addresses this subject.
