No

I don't listen to the radio a lot - and though I've heard a lot about them I've still not heard any of their stuff...perhaps I'll check them out though!

I love the sisters too! Their cover of "Comfortably Numb" is awesome! And that chick singer's got a lotta Stevie-ness about her.

Well I like the snippets of songs they have on their MySpace! But they still sound nothing like Mika to me...they have more of a throw back sound...of course this is all judging from their MySpace, I definitely have to check out more!

I'll bet. That song sounds pretty generic to me. The way everyone talks about it, I expected it to be really something.

How is it generic?

I mean everyone has different tastes but this song really caught my ear (extremely rare these days) and basically he rocks.

I haven't heard any of Mika's other tracks. I do love Grace Kelly though! Just find it really catchy!

It just... IS. It doesn't grab my attention. To me, he just sounds like every other guy with a guitar.

Wow. And to me he doesn't, which is what appeals. If I have to sit through another Jack Johnson or John Mayer I'd go crazy - he seems different to me.

But to each their own...

Do you like Gnarls Barkley? That's who he made me think of. lol. I don't like Jack Johnsor or Mayer, either.

Good God. I HATE...nay LOATHE and Abhor (we know what you are, Blanche, it's nice to hear you say it....abhor a slut...same difference) Gnarls Bakley.

So yeah, I didn't get that connection at all...

So then have you heard the whole album or are you basing this on just the Grace Kelly song? I'm curious - though either way I'll probably still buy the album when it comes out here.

What did you think of the Decemberists by the way?

You never cease to crack me up.

I don't know what the big deal with Mika is, honestly. I like him, but he blends in with the rest of the "Guy and his guitar" acts out there.

Why thank you.

Wow....hmm...well maybe if I listened to the radio more I'd realize he's nothing different or special..but for someone as new music-ignorant as myself I just took to him right away.
