Default Supernatural stuff

Has anyone ever had any supernatural things happen to them or know of anyone who has?

When I was about 16 or so we lived in this huge house and my room was on the North end of upstairs, waaaay down the hall from my parents', but next to my sister's.

I was watching TV in my room one night and for some reason I kept looking at my closet door. My closet was this walk-in roomish place that could pose as a tiny bedroom. Then as I looked away from the door, I heard a man as plain as day say my name in a demonic voice. It wasn't loud or soft, but in a conversation tone. After he called my name, there was what could be described as a garbled laughing for about three seconds. I thought I was going crazy, or what I heard was in my head...but it was real because it shook my bones. (NO, I was not drinking, nor am I schizo, or on drugs).

I know there are things afoot that are touched by darkness and by light, but they exist in other dimensions. But sometimes one dimension crosses into another, I believe, and doorways are opened.

We've sort of talked about this recently. I do believe in the supernatural for sure.

Years ago, I was less than 5 but still have memory of this, my sister was left to babysit me..we didn't live in a great part of town and this drunken guy came to the door and was pounding on it. We didn't know him, so my sister didn't answer, he began trying to kick it down.

Then he went to the windows and was pounding on them. When it looked like he was about to break one of the windows this large white dog came up and started attacking him. The dog backed the guy into my dad's car (it was unlocked) and then would not let him out. The dog would run to any door the man tried to get out of - anyway. The police got there, my parents got there - the dog was nowhere to be found...the police had no recollection of there being a dog at the scene when they got there. Not one neighbor had a big white dog.....and neither me or my sister has ever seen a dog like it again.

There are a few more stories...some more "mysterious" and unexplained...

Wow, those are both scary ass stories. I've never had an experience like those but I know many people who have. I tend to be very skeptical about them since they involve spirits and ghosts and I don't really believe in them.

There's another story in my family - I was not born as it's from my mother's youth, this story.

When my mother was growing up they lived in an old house that was once an abortion house. To this day she and my grandma swear the place was haunted. The one story that is told by all my uncles and my aunt, mother and grandma goes something like this...

They were all asleep one night but for some reason my mom and aunt and an uncle all woke up around the same time, they didn't know what woke them - but then suddenly it got breezy in the room and then they all saw this apparition type thing. Just a weird blur of white light. They all say it was not detailed EXCEPT for a set of very very white teeth that they could make out. Normal white teeth.

They were frozen, didn't scream or yell or get up. They say it calmly floated out of the room...well a bit later my grandma ran into the room in a panic. She didn't see that but as she and my grandpa slept they were jolted awake by one drawer in their dresser repeatedly opening and closing on its own.

They spent the next week or so at my great-grandmothers house.

The story seems fantastical even to a believer like me - but they all share this story - and swear by it.

Clearly your mom and grandma were haunted by true evil.

I remember this event quite vividly and its been about 8 years since it happened.

At the top of my hill there is this giant rock behind the road. It has some woods and the whole total area could probably fit 2 houses. The rock is so massive, you can climb on it and its almost like a whole other level. Since there were a bunch of kids on my culdasack growing up, we'd always go up there to play. Next to the rock is a house but, its a good distance away from their property.

One day, as the sun was setting, my friend and I were sliding down the side of the rock. It was a fun game we used to do. After we got bored, we headed towards the top of the rock so we could start heading back to my house. Well me and him get to the top and we just see a man, a woman, and a dog. The man and woman looked fairly elderly. They were dressed in clothes from the 1800's and their skin was PALE. And I mean really pale. Even the dog had a sickly glow to him/her. All they did was stare at us. I nearly SH*T a brick. I RAN LIKE HELL, I remember jumping off the rock, nearly killing myself (and leaving my friend behind who was also freaked) and I sprinted back to my house. My parents didn't think much of it. I had never seen these people before and I have never seen them since. Our neighborhood is very close and we generally know everyone who lives in the area.

The appeareance of these things really have stuck with me over the years. Its one of the moments of my life where I was truly, truly, petrified.

Holy **** Jimbo, I never heard that one!

There's a lot of weird coincidental/freaky stuff that has happened with my family, mainly concering relatives who have died. A lot of times these thing begin as dreams, but dreams that are more real and more powerful than any dream we've ever had. And they're ALWAYS tied to something that happens later. Idk....we all believe in an afterlife in my family, so all this stuff isn't really a shock to us.

As many know, I live in a haunted house, so I am used to supernatural things happening to me.

Matter of fact, I just had to get up a few minutes ago to see what my cats were looking at - Nothing I saw, but the dining room light was oddly turned on (Deb's at work and i am here in the bedroom typing).

I dont mind ghosts/spirits/spectres sharing this ol' house...But if they want to haunt by turning the lights on at night, they sure can fork over some $$$$ to help pay the electric bill

Any demonic stuff?
In addition to the other story I posted earlier, since I was 25 I have had this recurring dream of (what I believe is) a mischief demon calling himself Callon, the Firestarter. He has an ashy, lean, muscular body with faint pebble grain skin and a large triangular head (snout-wise) with long, pointy ears. His eyes are large and crimson. No mouth, but he could speak telepathically. He also had a long smooth tail occasionally waving it around. Long black fingers with sharp black nails. He says sometimes, "the fire is here Gretchen", and then it ends. I haven't had the dream in a while, but I will recognize it when it comes again. It's kind of disturbing when it happens. I am not yanking anyone's chain here, this story is real!

That is really scary! Have you seen the Exorcism of Emily Rose??

I've never had any demonic experiences, but one night my sister and mom both had the exact same "dream" and it did involve a demon and the next day some very horrible things happened regarded someone who I believe does have evil in them...vague story but I don't want to get into the whole thing here - it was just odd taht they had the exact same dream before some sh*t hit the fan.

Yes I did, I have the DVD. It is one of those stories that could be real, that's what makes it so unnerving.

Exactly...well I think it IS based upon a true story...but if one doesn't believe in that kind of stuff then it's bogus - but I happen to be a believer and that stuff scares the crap out of me.
