Hmm...I'm mostly having trouble with the whole changing chords thing. Can't seem to do it in any sort of timely manner. Of course I'm also expecting to be great in like the space of an hour - a recipe for furstration...

I'm trying to take it slower now. And I'm looking for some drums to buy as my left hand becomes weaker and weaker the longer I don't play.

So you just use it to lift beers and drive, basically? I was really into that T-Rex image. sigh.

oh, chord changes. yeah. i practice those with a metronome, and first i set it to something really low, like 50 BPM or something. and i'll do C, C, G, G (or whatever chords you're practicing) with one chord per beat. and once i get it down at 50, i'll increase it just a little bit, to 54, then 58, etc etc. you don't need a metronome to do it, it's actually a lie to say i use mine, because it doesn't even have batteries right now. but i start out slowly, making sure i can do it at a steady beat before speeding up at all.

I have a metronome...I think I'll try that. Though I'm still trying to master chords themselves I'm seriously jumping the gun in trying to change chords and in turn play songs

Lefty pride! I can use my right hand for anything if I need to, though, so I guess that makes me ambidextrous?

Still and all, 250 years is a long lifespan for a right hand. I guess lifting beers is the perfect amount of strain for maximum handage. Or whatever. Oh, and I was talking about your right hand in the first place. Also, this is hella stupid, gotta go.

You backwards Brits! I can't IMAGINE shifting left handed.

Does anyone have a clue as to why Brits drive on the wrong side of the road? I mean, does "driving left" pre-date cars??? WHO decided that "we'll build THESE cars, with the steering wheel on the opposite side"?
WTF?

Well, when you drive on the wrong side of the road, you're bound to be defensive!

OK. The Romans drove their carts on the left And so did you lot over there You only switched to the right to be more like the French after we uhh.. abandoned you after that little spat we had... Then everyone else switched to the right to be more like you. We decided we were right in the first place, and stuck to our guns

We invented cars *cough* so we're right. In fact, we invented everything. Including your country
