NGBA has always been one of my favorite songs from Rumours but I loved it most on the SYW tour. Stevie's harmonies really added to the song. The SS version is beautiful! She sounds so effortless and strong. Linds does oversing it live, but it is still sooo sexy. It is one of those songs I would really miss if it was removed from the set. It is signature LB.

It's definitely worth getting. They used different mixes of every song, with added, previously unused elements from the originally recorded tapes. That explains the "I hear things I never heard before" comments.

It's a quality product all the way, Ken Caillat supervised it. Too bad that the Tusk DVD-A he was planning never materialised, and the Rumours one has now gone out of print too.

I absolutely adore this song. The album version is great (and I love "Brushes" on the Rumous bonus disc), but I'm going to go against the grain here and say I've been loving it live recently. (SYW tour and LB solo).

okay, don't kill me...

I don't really like this song at all.

I know it's very well written and performed...but I just can't get into it...too down on the farm for me.

Ah. So it's because I've actually truly never heard it before. Good to know.

yes, I agree that Tusk DVD-A would have been superb. I did recently see a SYW DVD-A - anyone have that one?

Away from the big classics on Rumours, NGA is my favourite track. I love the simplicity and the way it just gets under your skin and refuses to leave. One of my top 3 LB songs ever.

That was actually a reference to those people (not you, btw) who claim that they hear new things in it because "DVD-A is a muuuch better format than CD" - I guess some of them didn't realise that it was due to the new mix.

The SYW DVD-A is pretty much the bulk DVD-A product that they were putting out at one point, there's no extras on it. I don't think it even sounds that good, but maybe that's because I don't have a 5.1 system. Completists could buy it cheap these days, I guess, and the centre channel mixes of the whole thing are out there too.

Amazing song, and I especially love to hear it live, in every possible version.
