Stevie is definately worth getting up at 2:00 AM for! Both Today Show experiences are among my most cherished fan memories. Especially the SYW appearance. Hmm...an outdoor concert in March? With Stevie? She is going to be bundled up like an Eskimo.

Thanks for the news!!!

God! It's been almost 2 years already since she's been on... Time flys! Doesn't seem that long ago. Looking forward to it!!

Damn it, why don't I live in NY.

$100 says she does Stand Back.

I wish Stevie would date Matt Lauer. He clearly loves her!

Sweet! I was wondering if Stevie was going to perform on any tv shows. I too wish I lived near New York. I would love to go.

Kris10723 · #11 03-05-2007, 12:38 PM

I'm so mad that I'm at school right now, because I would love to go to the city to see her.

No doubt it'll be Stand Back.

And she'll wear the black skirt.

She should let her Crystal Visions trailer perform instead, otherwise known as "I can't wait to see her do Stand Back again!"

Thanks for the heads up. I kid, but I'll probably be squealing like a schoolgirl...

Yes, her last Today show appearance in September 2005 was a great experience, especially seeing/hearing the soundchecks and Mama sans facepaint

, etc. But I was really peeved that right before her segment, they had that section right in front of the stage reserved for the Today show staffers, flackies, cast of "Chicago," etc.

Plus one of the camera rigs was right in my line of view. Still... can't wait for this!

I wouldn't count on this being outdoors! I don't think the outdoor "Summer Concert Series" in the plaza kicks off until sometime in April.

So I wonder what the protocol is for getting inside of the studio. I get the impression that it's strictly invitation-only due to limited capacity.
