Thinking about what an idiot I am for having a new roof put on while I am on vacation. There are 20 guys up there making the most ungodly racket tearing the damned thing off. Sheebus. I'm literally gonna have to leave, I think. My poor birds. They must think the world is ending.

The tear off was essentially done in two hours, so that was most of the noise. With the timing beggars can't be choosers. Took me 4 years to get a roofer who would show up and that is only by the grace of the fact that he is the husband of a friend. At least this way I can keep an eye on them and see that they don't trample what little landscaping I have and don't toss the debris into the ravine instead of toting it down the driveway in wheelbarrows. Poor bastards. I am sure they are thankful it isn't summer and 100 degrees outside.

participating in the most boring teleconference I have ever sat/listened to...2 f'in hours...lucikly this will cut a half hour short by another meeting...this is so bad I need ledge relief. help...someone hand me a hammer.

LOL. A few of them saw me wandering around naked at 8 already. My house is 70% floor to ceiling glass, so there isn't much hiding. I don't think that Juan and Carlos are all that interested in the Sparky show. None of em are hot anyway.

Sitting through the second huge snowstorm to hit MN in less then a week. They're predicting 10-20" with this one.

This is pretty bad, but it'll be gone soon enough and spring will be here. Spring in MN is so beautiful.

I'm just pissed because I have to stay in tonight. The ledge will keep me entertained tonight.
