Default Crank it up

Okay give it up. I know you have some and you can't hide from the light any longer. I busted a girl on the way into work for it, and she knew she was 100% guilty as soon as she saw the look on my face.

Friends, I'm talking about car singing. Actually more along the lines of performing. Singing, dancing, actions, emotion....the whole bit. We all have a list of a few songs that cause us to temporarily lose our sh*t completely. Whether you can sing or not is irrelevent here. Talent matters not. What matters is that these songs are so great that even the meekest of people can give a balls out performance.

So...out with it. What songs make you bust out the car dancing/singing? Or while showering, grocery shopping, studying, family planning, plotting, etc? I'll start:

Early 80's Madge (Burning Up, Borderline, etc)
Rock & Roll (Preferably the orginal, but I rock it to Heart's version too)
Stand Back (LIB is a good version for the car)
Don't Stop Believing
Anything Motown
and as of last weekend, Whitney's I Wanna Dance with Somebody

When U Were Mine is a definite performance. Like A Prayer and True Blue as well Dolly is just a given.

Oh I'm a complete and total car singer. I think it might be physically impossible for me to be in a car and NOT sing.

I'll sing to anything and everything I know...and I don't care who sees me, if I get a funny look I just belt it out at whoever is looking at me funny

Some of my favorite car hits:

Def. Like a Prayer...
Time After Time
Goodbye to You
Bohemian Rhapsody
We Are the Champions
Let me Roll it
Lips of an Angel

Ok...there are a lot...I sing. All the time.

- the doors - la woman and roadhouse blues
- faith hill - this kiss
- nena - 99 luftballons
- fisher-z - marliese
- lots of queen stuff, queen's good car music
- heart - crazy on you
- melissa etheridge - like the way i do, bring me some water, i want to come over
- janis joplin - piece of my heart
- chris isaak - baby did a bad bad thing
- vaya con dios - neh nah neh
- marco borsato - ik leef niet meer voor jou (sorry, but it's a good car song)
- steve and cockney - make me smile
