I have been a huge fan since she played Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator. I agree, she is one of the best, if not the best actress of our time.

I want Little Miss Sunshine to win, for sure. I wont be sad if The Departed wins either, I liked that a lot.

I know this isn't related directly to the Oscars, but Jay Manuel just showed a special edition of Lip Fusion with Swarovski crystals around the handle...

must.have.it.

could they have not put her in a better location for performing? on top of a windy balcony? wtf. and I'm sure it only made it harder for her to perform such a demanding song.

but she brought it.

I haven't seen any of the nominated films yet - I love movies, but I hate going TO the movies, so I'm always seeing things late, when they're out on DVD or PPV. I was gonna watch "Little Miss Sunshine" today, but I did my taxes instead and Joan & Melissa are on in 25 minutes!

I'm rooting for Martin Scorcese to win best director - long overdue!

That's probably why I thought she sounded off. Something just didn't sound right.
