Hey Sparky, don't feel bad. I've got condoms, Purell and a spanish dictionary in my car.

What? Condoms are considered 'weird' to keep in your car?

Lots of baby toys (I have a 10 month old son)
Crayons and coloring book for my 3 year old daughter
iPOD FM modulator

I'm sure your towel makes it look like some kind of prayer cloth.

"The shroud of Sparky" This week on History Channel - What is that shape stained into the towel?

Toy plastic baseball bat - for holding up the hatchback cuz both of those hydraulic thingies are shot.

That's probably the only weird thing. Spare change, CDs, portable CD player, tire pressure gauge, extra sunglasses...

And doesn't everyone have at least 20 strands of Mardi Gras beads hanging from their rear-view mirror? All year 'round? I do!

The weirdest thing in my car is a mini rubber chicken keyring. Its beak fits perfectly into the tiny button used to reset the clock. Which you have to do twice a year.

here's everything. this is good exercise for my brain.. i'm having writers block issues at the moment (a little mindless forum trolling usually helps).

Glovebox:
Plastic baggies for dog treats (only way to get past the neighbor's dog without getting jumped and licked to death)
Owner stuff, service papers
Tire gauge
Flashlight

Consoles, storage space under stereo, door pockets:
the flashlight you shake for ten years instead of using batteries
2 straws
a nice bit of coquina - to keep a piece of st. augustine beach with me all the time
hand sanitizer, lotion, chapstick, contact lens solution, floss-picks, bic lighters, glass piece, and hotel room ashtray to hold roaches & clips (classy, i know already, shut up).
tropical twist Trident
advil, extra strength tylenol, & dayquil
hunting knife

Passenger seat:
Purse
Organizer
Jacket

Backseat:
Box of cleaning supplies - Armorall cleaning wipes, armorall glass wipes, 2 bottles of febreeze air effects, california mini-duster, roll of paper towels, cotton rag (i don't get irritated during traffic stops or lights if i grab a towel and start cleaning)
chococat umbrella (it's super cute)
pink vellux blanket (just in case)

trunk:
spare & jack
allen wrenches
chamois
extra oil
extra coolant

and my busted-ass disco ball hangs from my rearview. i've had it in every car i've driven since i turned 16. it's been through a lot. if i'm really irritated, i'll smack it hard so it bangs into the window, then i don't hurt my hand from punching the steeringwheel anymore! yay.

i wish you had asked this at a time when i'm roadtripping. i can live in my car for weeks, really.

Back in college, we found a small, ceramic hollow head in the back seat of my car. It was handpainted and was of a black man with a circa 1940's haircut and moustache. And inside of the head was a crumpled up piece of paper with a phone number on it. So, Zirko and I called the number...and it's an opener we still use today, twenty-five years later...
"Excuse me, but I found your number in a black man's head that was floating around in the back of my Volvo".

That's hilarious!

There's only 3 things I can think are slightly weird.... okay, 4...

A big red terrycloth robe (because of the below zero temps)
Big ugly knitted socks.
A gallon of applejuice. This was supposed to be for Sara's Valentines Party at school, that wound up getting canceled due to snow. It's still back there.
