MmHmm, do they have Fleet week in LA?

You might be able to tell it, if it involves some food n' some fit-ness!

It was San Diego.

And there was some exercise involved. But no food.
It's the kind of thing I would PM,
after a considerable amount of this tequila!

****, I actually may have told one Ledgie about it, while swapping tales of debauchery. Strand, Jazzy, do you remember?

Spark - how'd your weekend go? You didn't lose it & drink the rest of the bottle, did you? I don't know what to tell you, other than keep going & don't give up. See, I'm like your very own after-school special starring Nancy McKeon.

Like Amber said, t's probably just your body getting used to everything again - either it's building your muscle back up, or it's pissed that you've cut your calories so it's scared to lose the fat.

Aww, thanks JO !

Can I have a ride on the back of your motorcycle?

I did have a shot of tequila that night! Hit the gym two hours Sat, did a brutal bike ride Sunday morn. And then I had a burger and FRIES last night. I was starved and grumpy. I deserved it.

My weigh in this morning shows me 1.5 pounds down from last Monday. Better than a stick in the eye. 6.5 in 3 weeks. Not as fast as I'd like, but at least I am not gainiing.

Sweeeet. 6.5 in three weeks is just right. Seriously, you exercise like a bitch, make sure you get enough food.

An aside and an update - that coconut oil does not taste good. It's not unbearable, but it isn't lovely, either. So far the best was in ice cream, but I just put a tablespoon full in some tea in the morning and at night, and don't inhale while I drink it. Cause of the smell. The coconutty, oily smell. I mean, I can't be eating ice cream all the time. Or rather, I can, as I finished that container I bought in one day.
Anyway, coconut oil - bearable, but not delicious.

I just thought of something - it's kind of odd how the two (not the only two, obviously) smokers here tend to like to exercise the most. Though I don't smoke every day, I still smoke some.

Sure, you can ride bitch.

6.5 pounds in 3 weeks is pretty rad, IMO.

I thought you'd been eating coconut oil every day for months? Did you buy a different brand or something? An ass-flavored brand?

Yeah, we've been eating refined and they recommended pure organic unrefined. And, yes, it smells like coconut, and it is oil. I still have my other kind I use for cooking, the one that tastes fine, not so much like ass.
It's just too strong coconut oily. But like I said, not unbearable. In fact, I should go have my nightly oil tea now...
You know how when you go underwater for swimming and plug your nose (not with your hands, just naturally)? That's what I do when I drink the tea.

this kind of goes along with this thread and I don't feel like starting a whole new thread on it, but last night's Wife Swap had one family that ate nothing but raw food. we're talking, cut up the chicken and eat it raw. milk was fermented, meat sat out for months and they called it "high meat"...it was gross. they don't bathe or disinfect their house, they brush their teeth with butter and clay. crazy ****. they all look sick. they don't drink water because it's a "solvent and dehydrates you" - anyway, the "new" wife convinces them to see a doctor and the nutritionist basically says she has no research to repute what their diet is, but that she wouldn't recommend it. I was like, wtf? how can she sit there and basically say "ok" to what they're feeding their kids. it was beyond me.

in other news, The Biggest Loser dvd is awesome. you have like 6 workouts on one dvd and you customize your warm up, work out and cool down before you get started and it puts it all together for you. and the trainer is way cute and motivating.

more and more people are noticing I'm losing weight. this is when the payoff is at it's best.

I could not believe what I was seeing. and didn't they look sick to you? something about their eyes and their skin. I wanted to cry tho towards the end. the children are so obviously confused.

they're being "un"schooled, which is a form of homeschooling that is, in my opinion, bull****. or at least, the way they're practicing it is. i wonder what kind of homeschooling laws they have in iowa. i know in ohio, you have to submit a portfolio every year to your local school system to be evaluated, but other states are different. in AZ, for example, homeschooling parents have no accountability to the state.
