If anything good comes out of this, that little Dannielynn will be with her real father and grow up in a stable, loving environment so she won't have that need for too much attention that ANS seemed to want or need in her life.

Perhaps, all those women (Lindsay, Britney, Nicole, Paris, and others) who live in Hollyweirdland and want fame will see how Anna Nicole's life turned out and use some common sense and want a more stable lifestyle

I did watch some of Court TV's coverage yesterday. We had it on in the office and a few of the attorney's commented on the Judge. They all agreed...he is an idiot. Obviously he is jumping on the attention seeking bandwagon. One of my bosses was so offended when the Judge loudly announced "That baby's on ice". He thought the Judge was referring to Dannielynn. Sadly, that is how he was referring to ANS"s body. I was pretty shocked at how he conducted the proceedings yesterday. It was a chaotic mess and Birkhead's lawyers had no right to even be present. The whole thing gets sadder and nuttier by the day.

i posted about it & had it on most of the day, the judge kept saying how they were gonna treat this body w/ respect, but he sure didn't, it was all just a circus, i felt bad for anna~

Former Playmate was pregnant at time of alleged prescription

Documents obtained by TMZ.com claim Anna Nicole Smith was prescribed methadone under a false name while she was pregnant.

LOS ANGELES - The man claiming to be Anna Nicole Smith's primary care physician, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor found himself in hot water yesterday when it was revealed he allegedly had prescribed a pregnant Smith methadone.

In documents obtained by TMZ.com, it was revealed that Dr. Kapoor wrote a methadone prescription for the star under the false name of "Michelle Chase." The prescription however was mailed to Anna under her real name Vickie Marshall in the Bahamas. Just days ago however, Dr. Kapoor claimed in an interview with Access Hollywood that Anna was not on drugs while she was pregnant with five-month-old Dannielynn.

"The baby didn't have any withdrawals. The baby was healthy so it's obvious that she was not taking drugs," he said. "Anyone [who would] have been taking hard medication when they were pregnant, there would have been some kind of problem with the child."

Since news broke about the methadone prescription, Dr. Kapoor has been unavailable for comment. He cancelled an interview with Access and was captured with his head covered while ducking in to a van in Los Angeles yesterday. His Southern California practice offices had the curtains drawn and the doors locked as well.

In our interview last Thursday, February 8th, Dr. Kapoor said his orders to Anna Nicole while she was pregnant were very simple.

"Just get a lot of rest the usual. I mean, you know, basically eat well, try to get a lot of rest. Slow down your schedule and you know she was gonna go get some R&R," he said.

Sandeep, who met Anna after her weight loss, confirmed a number of doctors were skeptical about treating Anna Nicole because of "media and other issues," he said. "For me it was about being an advocate for her health and it's about being responsible for new patients, not walking away from them."

The doctor also told Access he believed videos of Anna Nicole slurring her words were acting on the model's part.

"That baffles me," he said. "Part of it was to play up the media," he said. "A part of it I believe, was staged, was stunt."

When asked for his thoughts on why Narcan was administered to Anna Nicole by paramedics who treated her on the scene at the Hollywood, FL hotel where she was found unconscious, Dr. Sandeep said he was unaware of what she was on that would require that treatment.

"Since not seeing her since May I wouldn't want to speculate on what she could have taken," he said. "[In the case of] toxic ingestions, most emergency rooms would attempt to reverse something with that. It would only work in the case of an overdose of an opiate."

Well, in all honesty, if she was taking the methadone AS PRESCRIBED, it is better than doing heroin or oxycontin while she was pregnant. There are ALOT of pregnant women who are prescribed methadone maintenence. I have worked with quite a few at my job. The babies do have withdrawal but long term there is no damage to the child. If she was an opiate addict when she got pregnant, the doctors probably DID prescribe her methadone. Drugs like zanax or klonopin are far, far worse and would not be prescribed to a pregnant woman. I would be really pissed if she took those type of things while pregnant.
