Poor bread/toast. Like Amber said...totally unappreciated.
You don't have to defend toast, because it is clearly made of bread. Bread is baked. So bread is a baked good.
Let's do a logic problem for this:

All bread is baked
All toast is bread
so therefore
All toast is baked

I love when you can make standardized-test-like logic problems for things. Cause I'm a dork.

^^

Your toaster uses dry heat? That's weird.

Again, in MY own personal definition of "baked goods" - no toast.

That said, I do love toast, in fact I had toast with my dinner last night.

And thanks...

Yes, it's a new-fangled George Forman steam toaster. It works well, except for the sog issue

Toast has been vindicated - but not in my world - in which baked goods are finely defined by myself as things containing chocolate...or mad amounts of sugar and frosting.

I have so many questions! Is it the only thing we are allowed to eat? For instance, if I am having eggs I would want toast. But without eggs or other such items, I would have a bagel. Is this being served buffet style - been around a while - or brought HOT to the table? I do not want cold toast.

i think this is just ideal world baked goods. which is why i went with muffins... if i were being more practical, i'd probably go with bagels.

If you've eaten raw tuna then whale meat has a similar taste and dark colour. The locals eat it for breakfast along with Fish - a type of Artic Cod. They also have toasted bread and a wierd pickle dish. I have never seen Bagel in Russia!
