It's 12 degrees here now - not bad considering a couple of weeks ago it was sub-zero...but 12 is also a bitch.

But I'm not complaining, sounds like other areas are getting it way worse than we are.

Right now I'm wishing I had some Pepto Bismol (refrigerated or not) because my stomach really hurts (and I don't know why.)

oh, just ruuuuub it in!! no snow. I think we are supposed to get some tonight, but I don't know how much. Our problem is, if they PREDICT snow, the place shuts down We don't have the equipment to handle things like that, and it would be ridiculous to get it since we don't get much. But when we do You better hope you have bread and water-yo ass ain't goin' no where

It's the same here The other day there was snow predicted, and they started closing schools before a flake of snow fell anywhere.. Pretty pathetic, but that's the way we do things round these parts

is this related to the rhinosex craving? cuz if it is, that belongs in the pervs thread.

right now i am recovering from my snow extravaganza. decided (stupidly) to leave my house (the house i'm dogsitting at, actually) to go see my mother and get my mail, and realized that even tho we've gotten tons and tons and tons of snow, nothing has been plowed! i got stuck in the snow twice on the way over there (a 2.5 mile drive ). then when i got home, maya wanted to play in the snow. so we went in the back yard for a bit and i threw the ball for her and ended up slipping and falling on my back (i'm praying this doesn't f up my sciatic nerve again), getting covered in snow, and then maya ran over, jumped over me, sprinkling snow all over me from above as well. i left, and it took me 5 minutes to get out of where i was parked. finally got stuck again in the driveway - had to shovel my way to the garage. for about 15 seconds i didn't give a **** about global warming and thought "wouldn't it be nice to have a mf'ing snow blower?"

I am SOOOOOO tempted. I just don't FEEL like going in tonight, so in theory, I don't feel good.

No chance of a snow day saving you? That's what I'm praying for tonight!
