I'm glad we're on the same page!

Listening to ABBA always makes me happy. Every song is a feel good song for me. Especially Lay All Your Love On Me.. because it's one of the best songs ever, ever. I am always so disappointed when it's over that I have to go back and play it again. heh.

Don't hate me, but I saw Midlake three times last year.
I'll keep my fingers crossed they'll play near you soon though!
They really are great live.

I would love to go to SXSW! Who else is playing this year?

I don't do concerts a whole lot...but this year it'd be great if I can catch a Stevie show.

Other than that? I was looking forward to Dolly Parton, who I will hopefully get to see this year!

I'm going to start a SXSW thread soon...the big names haven't come out yet, but so far I'm stoked about:

Iggy Pop & The Stooges
Booker T and the MGs
Johnette Napolitano

Pete Townshend is the key note speaker. Don't know if he's performing yet, but his girlfriend is - Rachel Fuller. He's also a big fan of The Fratellis. Here's the first official list:

Rumours include another appearance by Morrissey, and a Nirvana reunion w/ Ben Kweller on vocals. I know, I can't picture that one either.

Hmm lets see

Lindsey (3 shows in March)
Stevie and Chris
The Killers

Hopefully the RHCP add another leg to their tour, I missed them when they were here.

You know that is just killing me...I just can't believe that lightning would strike twice. But he IS touring right around that time.
His performance at last years SXSW was his first in Austin after many cancelled dates in the past. And he was fabulous. I adore Morrissey...I hope he DOES play again this year.

Johnette, Iggy and Morrissey....how happy can you be?
