Default Crystal cover by a band called Treble

And Keith Olson produced their album?

(John, it works well live - hint, hint!)

sweet voices. Pretty hair. Not a bad cover. Yeah, listened again, sorta lackluster.
The evil in me enjoyed the moment when the fog machine obliterated the view of singer #2's well-studied mic technique.

Default Treble

And, Treble is a Dutch band! Well, actually they're from Limburg

Caroline (31), Niña (21) and the third for some reason is called Djem (19).

Yeah, they're actually from the same city I live in! I've spoken with them a few times.

I heard about them meeting up with Keith and them doing Crystal. I thought it was great, they are big Stevie fans.

Well, yeah, I'm no fan either, but I know them from the days they were still doing the gigs on the streets and collecting money in their hats. So you have to admit it's a pretty big step from there to going to LA to record an album with Keith Olson and representing the Netherlands in the Eurovision song contest (no matter how bad they did, lol).

Rather bland and generic version. But I give them props for having very fine musical references. But I don't buy into the thought thatsome particular songs won't "translate" well in live performance.

Is a performance less worthy if it doesn't cue the audience to jump to their their feet screaming? The lesser neophyte fans can their piss break then. If a song is good, and the band puts the time and confidence in it, it's viable for a live concert.

So many good songs, e.i. Crystal will never see the stage because of this limited view.

Not bad, not bad.

I've never seen these girls before, but the piano player reminds me of Marcia Brady. So of course, three blonds, I'm thinking about the Brady girls the whole time I'm watching this.

What FM song do you think Greg, Peter and Bobby should cover?

Great, now I have this image in my head of Peter singing "when it's time to CHAaaaNNGEeeee" in that adolescent croak. That is all the singing from Peter that I ever want to hear.

"you've got to rearrange"!
that was the first thing I thought of, too.

Just a couple of girls, looking for Treble.
