I did notice that! It's going to a busy concert summer for me...
Police, Stevie, VH, and a FREE Ozzfest! Oh, and my annual pilgrimage to Margaritaville.

Cool. So what drives up her ranking on the scale? The number of searches done on "Stevie Nicks"?

Audio problems or not, I think exposure (pun intended) on the Super Bowl pre-game show peeked a lot of people's interest in her. The fact that she is a rock and roll survivor and still out there performing says a lot. (plus the fact that there seems to be a lot of people viewing the clip on YouTube).

Yeah. The number of searches. It's amazing what a little publicity from the Superbowl can do.

And just ten minutes later, it's #326.

(I'm really not that obsessed -- but I still had the page up in another browser and decided to hit "refresh" before I closed it.)

This is such fantastic news!!
I'm so pleased for Stevie, and I do hope it'll give her some sort of confidence boost if that's really what she needs to get back in the recording studio (but I too have my doubt that that's the real reason).

Either way I'm thrilled! I hope it has just as fantastic a debut as TISL. And I can't wait for the DVD.

Okay, I must admit, I searched on Pollstar just to boost the ranking a bit.
Not sure how much one search can do, but hey if we all key in Stevie and hit the search button, it will rank her higher !!

Okay, now am I the only Stevie dork that did this? If I am that is okay. I readily admit that I am a Stevie dork.

that was not meant in any negetive way. I try very hard not to ever say negative things about stevie.....her music has literally saved my life, and I will forever be greatful.
AND I KNOW THAT TSL debuted at number 5, was number one on Amazon preorders and that TISL has sold almost as much as Say You Will. Im a fan too I-sneeze-at NOTHING. I even like the freekin cover AND title of crystal visions. I shouldnt feel like I have to explain myself after every post, but here it comes...... WHAT I MEANT WAS wether we like it or not, 6years is a Long time in record label land. it will HELP prove to THEM that there is still interest, I am NOT saying that she "does" need to experiment. but it doing well, will HELP give stevie a boost of confidence. All in all I guess the only thing that I should have posted is that I think Crystal visions selling well, can only be a good thing.
seriously, I dont think I have thick enough skin lately for the ledge.

If it can be of any consulation, I got what you meant the first time straight. And I totally agree.
About The Ledge, when I feel in the same way a good depressurization, far from the computer usually helps me.

I don't expect it to do as well as TISL, as it is only a Best Of, which she already has a Best Of and a box set out. Many people who have one of those won't buy it.

Like Romy, I also understood what you meant and where you were coming from.
In fact, Joshua and I were just talking about the same thing... that if Stevie's confidence is indeed shaken for some reason, perhaps solid sales for this release will show her that there is still a place for her in today's music market.
