Crystal Visions just makes me go, "meh."

But you're right... in lots of other respects she has teetered over the edge into self-parody. I think the most intensely self-parodious song evah might be "One More Big Time Rock and Roll Star." It's like 5+ minutes of pure, unfiltered, condensed Stevie caricature and cliche! It's so deliciously self-indulgent, you can't help but love it.

You are so sorry you missed that. I never thought I'd be in a world class hotel listening to some lounge singer sing Popsicle Toes. It was like a Bill Murray moment form that old skit he used to do on SNL.

Now that we have a much clearer pic of the cover, what does everyone think about the background pic now?

It's most definitely from the original photo session in 1979-1980.

I think that looks beauttiful. you can see the crescent in the backround pic too. I like the lettering, simple, but with afew acents. In a word, i would call the cover: Classy.

I don't like it - it looks cheap, especially with that font. And why is it not a current photo of Stevie? I hope this is just a stand-in...

Hear hear! The cover has the same look of design amateurishness that "Live in Boston" has. It's great for student work, but not for professional work.

Maybe the inside will be good.

Amen. It's totally amateurish. I've studied graphic design, my sister is currently studying it and we both hate it.
