March 26th in the UK and March 27th in the US. No release dates yet for the rest of the world.

The Nicksfix says the album is called reflections:

Reflections
Stevie is scheduled to release "REFLECTIONS - THE VERY BEST OF STEVIE NICKS" on March 27th on Reprise Records. "REFLECTIONS" is a collection of songs from her three decade career as a solo artist and member of the legendary Fleetwood Mac.

I know the nicksfix is almost definitely wrong, considering the press release was even changed to "Crystal Visions" and everything - but how could her official site post the wrong title? Its pretty hopeless if you ask me .

well, like you said, you gotta consider the source. maybe the changed info just hasn't trickled down the pipe to her official website.

I'm not sure there ever was a time when Stevie wasn't on the edge (verge, I changed it for artistic purposes) of self parody. It happens with very distinctive artists. I mean, in theory. She's so specific and self absorbed and consistent in her themes that it is pretty unavoidable. I mean, it might as well be called Crystal Visions, why stop now?

Luckily, I love her themes. Or whatever. I mean, really, is she all of a sudden going to become different? Most names you could choose that still evoke Stevie could be considered self parodious. Yes, parodious. Check your Amber to English dic.

Part of the reason La Nicks can still draw somewhat of a crowd is because she set about making up her unquie image over 3 decades ago and has really not deviated much from her Rhainnon persona that initially catapulted her to stardom, that and the high quality of her songwriting for a period of about 8 to 10 years that happened to coincide with the baby boomers coming of age..If people were going to see her for vocal performance alone now she would be playing steak houses and Linda Ronstadt would be selling out stadiums.

I think Stevie has, throughout her career, always managed to be Stevie Nicks without trying too hard to be Stevie Nicks. Her album titles have always been interesting, unexpected, but still quintessentially Stevie Nicks. Well, maybe with the exception of The Enchanted Works of Stevie Nicks. Crystal Visions just makes me go, "meh."

But you're right... in lots of other respects she has teetered over the edge into self-parody. I think the most intensely self-parodious song evah might be "One More Big Time Rock and Roll Star." It's like 5+ minutes of pure, unfiltered, condensed Stevie caricature and cliche! It's so deliciously self-indulgent, you can't help but love it.

One of my favorite sites, MusicTAP, posted this....

Reprise Records has produced a title for the Stevie Nicks package and will call it Crystal Dreams: The Very Best of Stevie Nicks. It arrives on March 27. Who caught the pre-game show with Stevie Nicks on Superbowl Sunday? She still looks great.
Typo? Or yet another title change?
I'm guessing it's the former.
