How are these, Jaz or anyone? I always make fun of starshine, so I don't know if I want these, but Petty is a big draw. Also, I don't like Outside the Rain. Like, hardly at all.

It doesn't open with itunes, though, it is a zip file. How do I unzip it? Wait, I think I did that before. I can't remember how to now, though. Shoot. Okay, it's okay, probably no one wants to help the computer gimp. I can probably figure it out, eventualleh. *sigh*. I have statistics and speech homework and shizz, i don't have time!!!! My life is so hard!!! I'm so lame!!!! Hellp!!!

I love these master reels, but have so few of them. There's an alt. take of Bella Donna (the song) I once owned and later lost. I loved it. (Can't say for sure which take it was.) Any chance someone has this (or other) reels they're willing to share?

I know. zip files used to scare the hell out of me, but now that I understand them it makes life so much easier on the giving and receiving end. if you don't figure it out, yell.

but to say you don't like OTF is blasphemy. it's probably my second favorite Stevie song ever.

alternate versions of the track "Bella Donna" from the master reels, it is 'almost' hard to say which is which.

For anyone interested in this info, there are over 200+ master reel tapes in circulation. Oddly almost all the reels are from the recording sessions from the "Bella Donna" album and a few from the "Other Side of the Mirror" & "Street Angel" albums.

Edit: The track listed by Jazzer-cize as "So Sad" is actually "So Sad To Watch Good Love Go Bad" - An Everly Bros. Tune

this reel is one of my favorites.

does anyone know why some of the MR's have songs from BD and street angel on them? is that an error or... what?

the reels were safety copies that were in the studio's storage and may have been randomly stored/archived - who knows actually

Tell me how much they were auctioned for again? It was ridiculously low, if I remember. Stevie could have easily paid to recover them. I think she actually wanted us to have them (in her own weird way).

was around $30,000 but I have also heard the $8000 figure too
