That photo shoot is sexcellent... but doesn't make for very good cover photo material.

That's be a great cover if it was 1980 and she was still 32.
Or if it was a bunch of Tusk and Bella Donna outtakes.
Otherwise, it just screams, "Stevie Nicks - super sexy 27 years ago!"

My gut feeling is that this is the real deal. I mean, it's a simple design and all that, but that's an awful lot of effort to create just a "placeholder" for the final cover image. What I find rather peculiar is the fact that the words "Reflections" or "Crystal Visions" are not printed on the cover anywhere...

The lettering is not the greatest, but it's still a vast improvement over Street Angel.

Not a difficult thing to achieve.

Well, that's definitely a Herbie Worthington photo. And since he's doing the artwork it's quite possible that's correct.

'The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac' also featured a nearly 30-year old pic for its cover....

Aww, someone discovered the Gaussian Blur filter in Photoshop. How ~dreamy~.

Don't get me started on the crap ass layering and blending job that has been done. I really wish I could see a bigger version, it looks very amateurish to me. Reeks of a certain someone I have wished to never be a part of anything regarding Stevie's artwork again...

Of all the photos out there, this one is just not that good IMO. An interesting take would have been to take a recent pic and show her youthful pic in the background, maybe looking at each other. But, this hat thing looks like an also ran.

Damn, neither of those shots used are the best out of that session ... have to say I reckon Worthington can pull something better than this out of the hat!
The effect of two Stevies is really nice, though, I think it's a runner, just not those two photos!

I tend to think so, too. I don't think fans can upload images into that space on VH1, so it's probably the real deal.

Text changes are simple and can always be made at the last minute. Reprise has been planning this release for a long time (at least two years in the making), so they probably had a lot of the graphics prepared months ago. After all, the release was originally called "The Best of Stevie Nicks," which retail info supports, so this is likely an early composite for the cover.

I was going to say the same thing. It's definitely a preliminary version of the cover since there's no real title on it. And remember, before we got the final cover images of both Trouble in Shangri-la and Say You Will, they posted other shots that wound up in the liner notes or the back covers of each album.

Preach it.

Yeah, but the most recent material on it was about 15 years old (if you don't count the rehashed Big ove & Go Insane from '97, which were already almost 10 years old upon its release.) Stevie's has a few more recent songs (within the last 6 years) as well as the live songs which are only a year old at this point.

I'm hoping that a current pic of Stevie will be on the back cover, at the very least.
