Admiring the purple I just sprayed into my little braids. Having good thoughts for Carrie's brother.

Freaking out temporarily b/c a TV station here that I've won stuff from before is having a "win Gwen Stefani tickets by watching the Simpsons at 7:30" contest all next week.
Thank god it's not during "Malcom in the Middle" or some other crappy show. I'll just be watching Simpsons anyways. Surely I will win, surely. In the great tradition of me not paying for tickets, but winning them instead.

I just bought some 5.99 spray at the store. I wanted to make my braids Asian Red, but I didn't want to be so permanent at the moment. I'll probably do that, next, with real dye.

I'm sorry, I know many like it, but it's not my cup of tea. Occasionally I somehow catch some of it. It's okay. I just don't like the style. The style is too big. Yes, I'm sure it has many redeeming qualities. Won't be the first time I didn't like something everyone else likes.

I know, I know, the show is good for *insert various reasons*. I'm not saying it isn't, I just don't like it much. Sorry, really I am.

That is funny, an hour ago, I sketched a pic of my braids in anticipation of having to explain them. Moments later I wondered why I thought anyone would care.
I had to do it in pen to show up, but my braids are the ones with curly ends. They're just tiny braids I started right behind my bangs to sort of dilineate that edge. So they are just two little tiny braids behind my bangs. If you braid your hair at night, it "grows faster" (doesn't break off as much) so I'm doing a little experiment. Plus it is cute. I rebraid them once a week or so. And of course I braid the rest of my hair every night, or nearly so.
In retrospect, this should have been bigger, but the darker parts with curl ends represent my little braids.

i hate to break it to you, but you don't look like that. actually, i can't really laugh, at least that face looks human. i can't draw anything that looks remotely human.

so are you doing an experiment to see if that hair grows faster than the rest of your hair? braiding takes too much work for me. sometimes i ask my mom to do it, but that's like once a year. braids are cute, tho.

The pic was just to illustrate my braids, and it looked better when it was in pencil before I had to outline it in pen. Do you understand where my braids are? And, i kinda do look like that...

Seriously, making one braid in the back is too hard for you? That is kinda sad. I mean, you just gather your hair at the back in your hands, and start braiding. Just one braid.
One time I braided all my friends hair, all in teeny tiny braids, it took about fifteen hours, because it was almost to her waist. Looked cute, though, she was the talk of the town those few weeks.
Then I had my hair all in braids, too, but my hair is a bit thin for that.

lol, i was kinda just joking/being an asshole. as far as "artistic renderings" go, it looks like you, but it doesn't look like you. whatev, i'm a retard. yeah, i get where your braids are. they kinda start in the middle behind the bangs, and both go down on the same side?

haha. no, the one braid isn't too hard, i was talking more french braids, b/c those are the kind that i like. my favorite are the "softball braids," which are the two pigtail french braids.

yeah, you got it, they go down the same side, because my bangs are "side part". I didn't think you were being an asshole - but I have drawn better pictures.
Okay, so then, if you can just quickly do one braid down your back before you go to bed at night, your hair will "grow" faster. I have a hard time doing french braids on myself, as well. This is just a utilitarian night braid to keep hair from breaking off.
The most hair breaks off at night on your pillow.
Everyone me or my mom (going back to olden days) have told to braid their hair at night if they want it to grow longer, has worked. Including myself. And my mom's hair right now is about to her waist. And we have thin, crappy hair.
*to be clear, it doesn't grow faster, it just breaks off much less, which of course makes it seem to be growing better.

i may try that, not because i want longer hair - it's way too long at the moment - but because i lose a lot of hair. i mean, a lot. and maybe it would help it not get insanely frizzy.
