Default Rumours, "standaard CD" at radio 2

Just so that you know, the biggest masterpiece of alltime "Rumours" is in the picture on radio 2, one of the best stations in the Netherlands.
See,..http://www.radio2.nl/page/schijven
Listen?? http://www.radio2.nl/page/live# and click LUISTER HIER. Maybe be at that particular time you hear some Rumours.

For all dedicated ledgies, every end of each year there is a TOP 2000, The heighst position is GYOW, on 94 (77 in 2005). This year i should be better, we all should vote to get Mac back. Eagles and queen fans are doing the same, do we have a deal??

^^
I was surprised, since that song usually doesn't get played on the radio. I've heard it only once before, long time ago. Radio 2 does rule though.

Remind me at the end of the year and I will.

this year, by the time I thought about it, I couldn't find the online voting booth anywhere.. guess I was too late.

It wasn't open as long as it used to be, only a few weeks. This is because they had already hit a new record with 1.9 million votes within 4 weeks.

I like to play Fm more in the record store (i work at free record shop), actualy my boss is totaly into lindsey Buckingham at the moment and tries to play stephanie and never going back again at his guitar (i'm one of the few who can't play guitar at work I have one but i can only jam on it a bit )
but my other coleagues only dig the older stuff and so its fleetwood mac greatest hits (sony) they only play. i try to sneak in some rumours or very best of occasionally but these guys are hard to please.

Not much of a radio listener in general still coll tey focused on this great album.

Were the (*^^%) do you all find the time to respond that many time???

Will

Ps we could found the FM dutch connection and meet once every year. After all, we did have a fanclub in the late 70's 'till mid 80's.
If i remembered well that was a girl named Debby ( catdancer) and a Karin.

A Dutch FM connection.... why not?

I used to be a member of the Stevie Fanclub around '88-'91, it had a fanzine called 'the Welsh Witch' (all by a girl called Debby). It was in this period that I 'discovered' FM and Stevie (was around 15 years old then) and became a member of the SN fanclub and the international FM fanclub . Have never been to a meeting or so.. maybe they weren't held then any longer

So, what was that like??? Meeting up with other fans in the old days??

The meetings I went to were in 1994 or 1995, I think.
Still got a big pile of fanzines from that time, but I don't know "The Welsh Witch". I've got.. Affairs Of The Heart, Crystal (Irish FM fanmag) and the last few copies of Frozen Love (Buckingham Nicks fanzine). Pre-internet days, that's the way FM fans met

the meetings were great! I remember one guy organised a party in a pub once, somewhere in Brabant. We had a Stevie impersonator, some kind of Mac karaoke I think, and people selling memorabilia.
Another meeting was a saturday organised by the ladies of AOTH (one of them Johanna Pieterman, people might know her from her drawings), lots of people turned up for that. Exchanging memorabilia, playing a mac quiz show (I remember I won a Stevie-coffeemug, still have it), just having fun, really.

A get-together would be fun (even if I'm not that big a fm fan anymore, must confess!)

Unfortunatly not, but the idea meeting once a year, exchange stuff and more is atractive. With the old and young ones, just one day of a year. Only talk about FM, and listen to it,....???

I'm convinced, who else.

Will
Maybe opening an weblog, in Dutch?
