My windows media player must know what you boys are up to. Not intentional, I swear:

Crystal Gayle- Our love is on the fault line

what? Lorrie is 80's if I ever saw it. now, the song is like 90-91, but I'll let you have this one.

did Chely Wright sing "Safe" originally?

lol, Lorrie is totally 80s - her debut album came out in 1988. Ever heard "Dear Me"? absolutely gorgeous. I was referring to my listening to Martina McBride, who debuted around '91 or so.

And actually it was a group called Baillie & The Boys - just to give you an idea of how obscure they were, they only have 26 listeners on last.fm.

NP: I Can't Turn The Tide - Baillie & The Boys (lol)

oh. sorry. I was klonopolizing again.

heard Dear Me? I think I have the video where she's all in white and writing the letter.

and I loved Bailey and the Boys (or however you spell it) - the lead singer always looked like a soap star (whose name escapes me).

what else did they sing? I'll have to look them up.

you have the video for that? kick-ass. her song "Out Of Your Shoes" is another "when I was little" song, because when I was 5 or 6 I would sit and watch CMT for hours on the weekends. ah, memories.

Baillie & The Boys, as far as I know their bigger hits were "A Long Shot", "I Can't Turn The Tide", "Fool Such As I" and such. I have their album Turn The Tide (the one I'm listening to), it's the one that has the original Safe In The Arms of Love - I could send a couple tracks if you're interested.

Dear Me is gorgeous but kind of sad - from what I've heard she wrote it to Keith Whitley after he died from alcohol abuse.

and yeah, when I finish listening to it I'll rip a couple tracks and PM them your way.
