Wink New Article On "Best of" & Upcoming Tour

The Best Of Stevie
Updated 04:22 PST Mon, Jan 22 2007

Rock legend Stevie Nicks has been pretty quiet since touring Australia and New Zealand last year except for a handful of appearances with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Now, she's is readying a new greatest hits album for release in the spring and has recently announced a few dates for February and March. The songbird also has a summer tour in the works.
Nicks will kick things off February 4 with a pre-Super Bowl performance at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. Then she's scheduled for a pair of South Florida dates - February 6 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood and February 9 at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa.
Next up is a stint filling in for Celine Dion at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on March 20, 21, 23 and 24. Tickets for the South Florida shows and the Vegas shows are currently on sale.
Nicks' plans for the summer include a full scale tour of the U.S. - her first since 2005 - with Chris Isaak in May and June. Dates for the tour are expected to be announced in the near future.

The Stevie keeps on coming.

Although Christine is the "songbird".

I'm not too too thrilled at the moment about Stevie touring with Chris. His songs are boring to me, and I wouldn't be able to sit through 60-90 minutes of it. But I will give it a try.....

I like Chris Isaak and was thinking I'm glad I can actually enjoy the opening act. I bet tickets will be pretty pricey though.
And Stevie is a 'songSTRESS'. Chris is the bird.

I'm not a huge Chris Isaak fan either. I wonder if he is just the opening act, or if this is another "Two Voices" kind of concert?

sounds like "Two Voices"..of course she always goes last...remember Henley saying she had to go second because of the room temerature..

These concert "bundling" things bug me. They put Stevie and Chris together so they can play bigger arenas like the sheds. Instead, Stevie could do a tour of more intimate theaters to promote this CD?

Sorry, I haven't complained in a long time. I just hate those damn sheds and I know that's where these shows are going to be.

At least I'll get a Stevie fix a couple months after Vegas.
