sure ya aint related to me? My family members (Siblings only) have all been married at least 2 times (Hell some of my Uncles/Aunts have also been maried multiple times) so I dont ask or listen for any relationship suggestions since Deb & myself have NO PROBLEMS at all.

Very good. He closed with Steal Your Heart Away instead of the usual, and I love that song of course. He was layed back and jokey. But during his speech before Red Rover, he was going through it, and Deb is all "pull the plug" exactly in time with Lindsey in his speech. I almost died laughing. But I had to be quiet b/c we were in the second row, and the place was smallish, you could hear everyone. Like, people would yell to Lindsey and he would answer back.

Also, I got off at the wrong BART station to meet Deb and we were delayed about 30 minutes. So, two lame things in one night is what I did. Also, Neal is soooo cute. Not Heywood, Ledge Neal. Anita and one or two of the others were sick. I touched them all anyway, before i found out.

o.k. I almost had to slap a patient today. I hate her. I've NEVER had the sudden urge just to beat the hell out of somebody. well...I take that back.....THIS WEEK i haven't had the urge to beat the hell out of somebody.

My snooty attorney (not saying attorneys are snooty..just this one ) patient came in. My boss' dog is getting his eye removed today and he was talking about it. She was discussing how she had her dog put down a few years ago because he was peeing on the floor it wasn't the fact of what she did...it was how cold she was about it. My boss said.."well..murphy may become a laundry room dog, or stay in the kitchen" (they looooooooooooooooovvve that dog) and she said "after cleaning up piss for three days, you'll have him put down too"

I swear I almost slapped her. If I wouldn't have lost my job I would have.

THEN. she talks about how her husband wanted to get a big screen tv. (he's an attorney too-but he's nice ) she said she told him " (Insert snooty "a he" laugh) we are not getting a 61 inch t.v. people in TRAILORS have 61 inch t.v.s. " The second coming of her SLAP was restricted by my need to have a job.

I hate snooty people, and I'm not fond of people that don't like dogs. That's my "nothing in the world is more frustrating than" speech.

My only saving grace was knowing that the last 40 minutes of her appointment was going to be me solo with her. I did poke her a few times whoooops...

Um, WHAT?!?! Did you freak out? I would have! This is HUGE! I don't think he's played that live yet, has he? I'm extremely jealous, that's one of my favorite SYW songs & I've longed to hear it live. Dammit.

We freaked out quietly, yes. Deb says he's only done it for Soundstage, live wise. I was pretty happy. They said it was a special request and so it was largely unrehearsed (insert some joke about practising in the bathroom), but it still sounded great. Only thing "missing" were some harmonies. They had a few on the very necessary parts, but not on all the parts Stevie does harmonies for on the album. Still, gorgeous. At least I got to hear that before I was locked out in the froze for two hours.

Hmm, there is a deeply rooted thread of sarcasm that runs through my family as well so you could be my brother! My uncles/ants have all had divorces except for a couple who are in ****ty marriages. My grandmother was probably the worst and so doesn't say a word. She, in fact, tells me there's plenty of time. Perhaps not for her great grandkids but then I was never certain I wanted them. I think it would be nice to have a family but with the right person. I don't know if it's for me though. How's your (my) ambivalence?

I hate MySpace music. It is so frustrating because it never effing streams right!

Actually, he did SYHA as a special request at The Pabst Theater - Milwaukee, WI .

I will upload the performance to youtube shortly if you are interested in viewing. Let me know.

EDIT: I am totally mistaken! Sorry about that...I had thought he played it somewhere 2006 tour but apparently not.

That is cool, thank you. That song is so beautiful. *sighs dreamily*

To add an adendum to my little story - what if you found out the next day that the key you were looking all around your friend's house for was exactly where you thought it would be and looked a million times, but didn't see it b/c it was in an envelope kinda behind a big hat on the ledge? You got a stepstool out, and looked on all the ledges (there are convenient ledge running all around the top of her frontroom), especially by the door, looked in all the little stupid containers there, and behind the pictures, a bunch of times, right where the key was...but never found the goddamned key? What if that? That would be frustrating, too. The only consolation would be pride in your psychic ability for knowing where the key was. Especially as it was on a ledge.
