While the lyrics are somewhat cheesy, the guitar tones provided by John Sykes on the 1987 album (Which includes "Is This Love") are some of the better guitar tones ('Black Beauty' Gibson Les Paul through Marshall stacks) I have heard from anyone.

Hey, nothin' wrong with Whitesnake. I'm just not one to admit I enjoy hair metal, haha. Singing with a sort-of metal band has kind of forced me to like it.
