I just joined up here. Looks like a great place. I searched around and found some old topics on Sara but I thought I'd start my own.

What was the longest version released? Does anyone know how or where I can get it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It's such a great song and I'd love to hear the most unedited form available.

From what I've heard...the original version of Sara was summert like 19 minutes long but I don't think this version ever surfaced. I would love to hear it Sara is my fav song of all time

the longest version released is probably the demo on the Tusk re-issue.

as mentioned above, the full, unedited demo has never surfaced...though there are other demos that are longer than what's been released.

The longest unreleased version of Sara that exists is between 8 and 9 minutes long. And it's superb.

I'm at work now but I will post it later if nobody else does in the meantime.

I got an mp3 from some ledgie.. it's exactly 10:44 and it's not the same in the Tusk reissue. I've heard also about the 17 or 19 minutes version but never got the song.

I used to have that one also, but I can't find it anymore. The only other demo of Sara that I have that is not the Cleaning Lady demo is 8.18 minutes.

19 minutes?! Holy Moses!

I'd love to hear some of these .... Sara is one of the best songs for loooong demos. It never gets boring.

No problem to me but it's a 10MB file, not sure jhow to send it, my email does not support that size

that's the longest one I have. It is gorgeous. The whole wind becoming crazy. That ol' crazy wind!!

and the "no sorrowful sorrow, and you can have no..more" awwwwwwww.....

also, I just like the way she says "I don't wanna be cleaning lady!"

You go girl!! i don't either!!! haha..

oh-and on edit. I don't think I could take 18 minutes of sara. i love it, but after 15 I'm sure it gets tiring
