I never thought I'd see Stevie doing anything related to the Superbowl in a million years. I'm stoked!

Maybe she should try Bootylicious without Destiny's Child. LOL.

I could see that... of course it will be Jana belting out the high notes while Stevie does the low harmony.

I'm with Paula. She's actually interested during R n R. And frankly, doing one of her 20-25 year old hit hit songs just shines a light on the fact that she hasn't had a hit since then.

yeah, that's why I thought it, too. But like someone said a few posts ago, FFG is a good possibility. I mean that if she did it, it would be good, cause it also rocks and she rocks it and seems to care.

but 80% of the audience wouldn't even know the connection between Prince and Stevie and Standback, so I can't see that happening.

It may be a good idea, but I think it is not a possibility at all because they are going to want the hits. Then again, she did it for the bough and paid for BlockBuster Award - so, anything can happen.

^ Yes, she did, and I was so pleasantly shocked. But the Blockbuster Awards are one thing, the Superbowl is quite another.

The people that watch the Superbowl, are the same people that know Stevie, "as the chick from Fleetwood Mac that sings Dreams" period. So I'm thinkin', it's going to be Dreams.

I smite thee, do not say that again, lest you manifest it. If she sings Dreams, I may be forced to kill her. Or, go to one less Vegas show.

Also, are the blockbuster awards and superbowl audience really so very different?

I think so. Younger more music-oriented majority female audience for BB Awards, older more sports/beer/commercials-oriented majority male audience for the SB. Plus, most everyone watches at least part of the Superbowl, while many people don't even know what the hell the Blockbuster awards are. I didn't, until I knew Stevie was going to be on.

Dreams would be too dull. Edge would be too long. R&R or Stand Back are my guesses. We sure as hell won't be hearing a Nightbird duet ot Storms.
