Are you kidding? You must not know what a TYPICAL Superbowl Pre-Game Show consists of, which would usually be the likes of Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Rhiana, and maybe a little Bow Wow to top it off (no offense to any of those artists of course). I never thought I'd see Stevie doing anything related to the Superbowl in a million years. I'm stoked!

all artists who perform pre-game before the Super Bowl play 3-4 songs, depending on song length. Usually the networks will show 1-2 of the songs played (Most usually the most popular tracks associated with older acts - So I say "Landslide" & "Stand Back" will be broadcast).

Thankfully I have recorded each Super Bowl since the early 90's, and I usually record/edit the pre-game musical acts - So I will have Stevie one way-or-another.

Something to think about y'all, Prince is the half-time entertainment for the Super Bowl, What are the chances he could have his ol' friend Stevie come on stage to play "Stand Back"?

If that would happen (Ya never know, right?) it would be million times more interesting than watching Britney Speared & N-Suck (Or whoever the hell that boyband garbage was) that forever destroyed Aerosmith's performance of "Walk this Way" (Worst musical moment EVER!!!!! Aerosmith playing along in that tragedy, neutered 'em for life.)

I'd love it if she joined him on stage, but I'd rather she sing "You've Got the Look" with him instead.

Very cool. Good exposure for Stevie. An appearance with Prince during the half-time show would be awesome.

Do I hear a perfect mash-up opportunity for Little Red Corvette vs. Stand Back? I can just imagine the intro chords to LRC playing while Stevie suddenly appears from the shadows singing "No one looked as I walked by..." very, very slowly. And then "Stand back, stand back... baby you're much too fast." "Stand Back, stand back... you need a love that's gonna last." This is too rich...

I cannot imagine Prince or his people letting La Nicks walk right into the middle of his set because they would have to pay her and she does not come cheap - though she could do it as pmt for half of SB
