i asked exactly that. and i was, er, pretty straightforward about it. about why the set list needs to be shaken up.

i also told him i hope he doesn't hate me for the question.

Good question! Now I don't have to ask that.

I just sent 3 questions in a PM to Lisa. Thanks guys and a big thanks to John for doing this again! One of my questions was sort of the same one that I asked Lindsey over on his website. I hope that John answers at least one of my questions.

I'm reading so much stuff about the Band Members that isn't true and is quite insulting.
anybody besides me perplexed about this statement? Perhaps John would care to clarify? What was insulting and which band member(s) does he mean?

Im just asking

(so, I guess I need to do it via PM??)

i agree. I wonder if he would allow their number 1 fans (ledgies of course! ) to pick one of the songs they add. By way of survivor or something maybe if there were a high demand for a particular song-they would do it. I don't want to ask because it's probably a stupid idea plus on the offchance they agree-i don't want to do the "setlist wishlist survivor"

Can someone spell this out in words a junior ledgie can understand. How do I submit a question to Mr McVie?

I know of a couple of bands that did that. Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath/Rainbow) let fans on a message board vote songs until they narrowed it down to 5 (by way of a survivor type thing) and then the band would pick as many songs as possible to play from this list. I think they ended up doing 3 of the 5 suggested songs. I know other bands do it as well, so it'd be cool if FM did.

I agree!! talk about a brutal survivor . And then to top it off, it would be really cool if they actually DID it and we knew it was because of us!!! (p.s. I'm a dork!! )

^^^ But Stevie AND Lindsey's very limited singing range these days, is what keeps this from being a possibility. S & L would never go for it, anyway.

Dear John: If you're reading this thread, then please be aware that I am the originator of "Stevie's Flying Vagina of Death." Accept no substitutes. These posers just stole it from me.

Thanks!
Daryl.
