I've been pretty static...no gain, no loss.

I watched YOU: On A Diet last night and thought about what they talked about all night and this morning I was reading the paper and their book is number one. kinda odd...anyway, their whole thing is to focus on waist and not weight. they say men should be at 35 inches or less and women should be at 32.5 or less to be healthy. they also say if a product has more than 4g of sugar per serving don't eat it. if a product has any type of enriched flour or hydrogenated anything in the first 4 ingredients, don't eat it. I read a ****load about them today, but it's all so confusing. I'm just gonna stick to what I've been doing cause it works. I got The Firm Fat Burning Cardio with resistance band for Xmas that I've been using. I also got a juicer that I'm gonna start using. I only have about 20 pounds left to go! yay. I want it gone by March, but I'm not putting too much pressure on myself.

y'all have all done really good. we are gonna be so svelte for summer!
How weird, I was just reading all about that on Oprah.com last night. I mean, I've also seen him on her show before, but only once or twice. I didn't think it was confusing cause I read a thing that said "five foods to drop out of your diet blah blah" and they were just basically sugar, high fructose corn syrup (no more than 4 g. of sugar, like you said) and then anything white. White flour, potatoes, something, chips. Hydrogenated oil. Which of course I already knew. It's hella hard to not eat sugar and white flour, but not impossible. Did you see the thing about psyllium seed husks in smoothies? They are fibrous and fill you up. I guess I'm pretty practiced at reading labels and figuring out bad ingredients already.

Anywhoo, you look great, I could see the difference in your face. If you only have 20 lbs left, that is awesome! Sounds like whatever you are doing is working pretty well. I have an end of March goal for my 15 lbs, too, but of course that is 'cause of Vegas.... I have an absolute goal of summer, naturally - what with my friend and her big new boobs, tummy tuck, and size 2 legs... (I know, I'm shallow. About this one thing. We like to be shallow together.)
I'm so glad that you've lost so much, I know how hard you were trying. Or at least how much you wanted it.

I didn't mean it was confusing as in the information was confusing. what I should have said was I confused myself. that's probably more accurate.

thanks for saying I look great. I wish my cheekbones were more prominent and that I had more of an actual jawline...hell, I hate my profile alltogether. anyway, no one's perfect. if I can lose 20 pounds I will be happy beyond belief. I'll be the size I was in college. and then I just have to not let myself go again.

we'll all get there bitches.

Yeah we'll get there. Amber, I'm up to 100 lbs working my calves. Are you proud? I just went up again on all of my weights and am getting strong. I really love that feeling so much. I just wish my boobs would stop shrinking now. Ass, you go ahead and shrink though. Goddammit.

Swam a mile last night in the rain. It was awesome. Water was hotter than the air so it was steaming. 2nd mile of the week. Hope to do 2 more.
All of this isn't really helping matters anyway, though. I think it is just keeping my head above guttage. Between now and Wed. I have 2 dinners, a small party, and a hockey game. Swimming a few miles is merely sparkbloat preventon.
Finally after the 10th, the holiday/birthday food death march will be over and
I can get back on track. Sheesh. Been eating like a pig and drinking like a whore for weeks.

Of course I am! Next time I see you I'll probably have calf envy.
I like small boobs, often they make people look slimmer in general. I also like the athletic look, and of course small boobs goes with that.

The holidaze will do that, they'll be off in no time.

I had to put the weight UP on the calf machine today after this guy got off it. I think he had calf envy.

hehehehe. 100 lbs is a lot. I think. It's been a long time since I was in a gym.

I hope the weight will be off. It has been so hard to exercise excessively, my legs usually hurt so bad. They feel okay today, though, and it is sunny, so I'm trying to convince myself to do the big hill hike. Yep, I'll be leaving any minute now. Mmmhmm. Here I go.

I can't wait to get a gym membership again, and have access to no/low impact exercises, and a sauna.

Well I started at 40lbs so it is a lot for me I think. I love having the gym membership, for me it is basically a prescription because I have to go to feel well, mentally. Now I walk in and and think, "This is my f*cking gym."

I'm supposed to be getting a free membership to the gym here as a perk for being employed by the reacreation dept. as a CPR instructor. They're supposed to be getting more cardio equipment & expanding, so here's hoping - I often had to wait for a machine before because it was so crowded.

is it a resp. illness? that sucks, when you're sick, and you know you can normally go much longer, but your lungs/whatever hold you back. hope you feel better soon.

^ Yeah, pretty much. It started as a random odd cough, then Thursday I felt like hell - headache, cough, post nasal drip, really sore throat. By Sat I was feeling a bit better, then yesterday I lost my voice.

This morning I still had a sore throat, laryngitis & some shortness of breath along with the annoying throat clearing/cough. I'm OK, I sound worse than I feel. Now it's more annoying than anything.

Salt water gargles, green tea & honey, extra Vitamin C, lots of water, trying to rest.

Hell at least you got SOME cardio in - when I'm sick I don't do ****. Nothing...but I also don't eat a whole lot either...I just sleep...a lot.

I haven't been the gym since Friday (took the weekend off) but meant to go back this morning, didn't make it - I was having amazing and weird dreams and just wanted to sleep more so I did...and had great dreams...

Sooo...I'm going to the gym this evening...it'll be fine.

And I'm also pleased to report that I am feeling/seeing slight results - mostly in that I was able to fit into and look good in a pair of pants from Target which NEVER happens... I'm excited.
