oh i jumped out of bed and turned the light on and started going through the covers like a madwoman murray was not impressed that i had woken him up to save him from the killer alligators

really?

i have had that happen. it's not so dramatic, where i'm fully awake and can't move or anything, but i'll be kind of drifting in and out of sleep, wanting to shift positions but unable to do so. weird.

It is weird. And some poor souls have a condition where they wake up in that state often.

Good for you! My mom just started taking short walks too, I actually got her one of those "Walking Off the Pounds" videos for Christmas & she's been doing it a few times a week. Better than nothing.

I'm still sick, called in to work. So far I fed the cats & dog around 7, went back to bed until 10:30, ate breakfast, layed on the couch, threw in a load of wash, had a cup of tea & honey, came here. Yeah, really productive.

Walking is not hard to do at all. It's hilarious because I walk our dog Clay, a red minature Dachsund, and watching his stubby little legs move is a riot!

I think I'm getting sick too At least today I feel like sh*t. I woke up with a huge headache, but just drank some water and headed to the gym...did a full 45 minute workout plus abs...

Then it all went to hell. I got home and got so sick to my stomach...head pounding...I tried to eat some breakfast, that made me feel a bit better - but the head is still pounding, and the stomach is iffy feeling....I probably shouldn't have come to work - but everyone else is off -so I'm the only one who can do my shift today

The ****ty part is our holiday party is tomorrow night - at a really really nice place - free (really good food - steak and crab) and free booze....but if I feel like this I can't go

I know your weather is different than ours, but I have been sick to my stomach for about 3 days now, and I think it's partly the weather. I've had a headache too. It just won't decide what it's going to do-warm, cold, warm cold. ugh.

Yeah - it's been warm (well in the 50s) for the last two or three days - then last night the temp dropped and the snow started a fallin'...dammit. I didn't think of the weather as factor in my feeling like ass - but I guess it could be...but I ALWAYS get sick this time of year

Yeah. MORE snow. It was odd - it was not looking like snow at all when I got home - I walked Clancy etc...well about an hour and a half later we went out again and it was coming down good...and I wanted to weep

There's just so much of it on the ground still...more is the last thing I wanted to see at this point....although I would not be complaining as much had I been able to stay home in bed today...I'm just feeling worse as the day wears on instead of better

I KNOW! And the steak and crab and Chocolate Ganache. Ugh. I don't want to be sick....I just had a bunch of time off of work I'd rather not take MORE....blah.

Now I'm doing this but also writing up some news stories for this afternoon, and I use the term news loosely because nothing truly newsworthy is going on up here today.
