Oh ****. The rarely seen hot medical presumably straight "Brad" is in evidence. Brad, why do you tease? You are so cute it's hard for us girls to think you are really straight. But aside from that, if you are straight or not, your cuteness and medical schoolness tortures both sexes. I had forgotten about you, but now, now, you're killing me! You look even way cuter than last year when I saw you! WTF? Oh, I guess you probably lost weight from medical school, so your cheekbones are out, so you are hotter. I see. Stupid cheekbones. So, when should we make out?? ![]() |

I was meaning to compliment you, but didn't want to hog the ledge with my fast typing and opinions. Seriously, a photoshot of my past boyfriends basically look like you. Well, a little more slim in the cheeks, but otherwise...sadly, they were not all as funny and clever as you. That is why I didn't say anything at your pics, I didn't want to foolishly gush at a gay man. Unless he had Scott Baio hair. I have my dignity!! *snicker* Thank goodness SortaSavageLike hasn't posted his pic, I'd be picked up for underage consorting, or something. Truth be told, medical school Brad is probably to "good" for me. ![]() |

Wait, are you a Scorpio, too? *random comment*. Anyway, I always laugh at your posts. And when you say "all that you accomplish", I wonder, because to be clever and make people laugh is the best thing in the world, and nothing to be sneezed at. Even if you have a cold. I'ts my personal most favorite thing in the world, when someone is clever, and I laugh. Not everyone will get what you say, or think it is funny, I suppose - but it is, so don't stop. As long as I think it is funny... Quote:
or, later: "You totally look familiar, have I met you before?" "No" "Oh, okay, but you totally look like my friend..." Really, the "you look familiar/like someone I know" thing has happened to me disturbingly often, considering. I may be that generic "mexi italian slightly tanned skin with plain brown eyed features" type of girl. I'm pretty sure I am , really. I was looking at my mom's pics, and suddenly there was this girl in the pic I thought was me, looked just like me from the side. Turns out, it was one of my mom's Native students. She was weaving a basket (yes, my mom taught native kids basket weaving, don't be jealous), but it really, really looked like me. I must be pretty generic if even I think other people are me, and they are not. Pretty cool.Last edited by amber; 01-05-2007 at 02:22 AM.. |

There is a small story behind this. I was scheduled to take Amtrak to my parent's on 12/24 at 7:42 am. When I got to BART, on that Sunday, I found out that BART didn't open till 8:00 am on Sundays and holidays. So I couldn't go that day. I spent Xmas eve (when our family opens presents) at home with no tasty Xmas snacks.
I couldn't take BART the next day, either, cause it was a holiday (Xmas) and my fricking train still left too early. So. I had to plan a big long bus trip in order to get to a station on time. I lugged all my crap uphill at 5:45 Christmas morning to take a bus to Downtown Oakland, to catch a bus to Oakland Amtrak. There is nothing more awesome than fighting off random bums at 6:20 am in downtown Oakland on Xmas. As I'm sure you all realize, it was dark at that time, sunrise wasn't till 7:25 or so. Anyways, me and my parent laundry (the laundry you take to your parent's, because it is free) lived. But - it was worth it b/c for once, I was actually out and about and got some cool pollution sunrise pics from the Amtrak station as i was waiting. Yes, I felt a little pure and reborn, I see sunrise that infrequently. So, here's sunrise, Jack London Squah, Oakland. Fricking gorgeous, if I do say so myself. I have known that much longah than I've known...Respect my authoritah! ![]() ![]() |

Okay, so I get home, and there is this magnificent bird feeder in my parent's yard. My mom made it. Due to it's sparkly glass beauty, I immediately become enthralled, and marvel at the fact that my mom broke and placed all those tiny peices of glass, all in the name of feeding birds (and artistically creating something).
Pictures don't do it justice, it is gorgeous. So beautiful and sparkly! Plus, I saw so many birds eating at it! Cute birds! Luckily, when I said, "damn, Mom, that must have taken you forevah!" She said "F* ck yeah, it did!" I like when people don't pretend their art was easy. Here's the far away shot: ![]() Here's a close up shot of one shape. I seriously can't believe she broke all that glass and made it into shapes. Okay, I can, cause I know her, but this is still extra. This is the glass bird: ![]() Here's the other side of the bird, the sunface in glass: ![]() Here is my mom and the sweet dogs (Sadie on the left, Fossie, jazz hands, (Foster) on the right) with the birdfeeder. Refilling time. I love this pic - my mom, her well trained dogs, her art, and her hating pics being taken of her, all in one lovely photo. Plus, of course, birds. My parents are crazy about birds. Their garden is half planned to attract birds. ![]() Here is my parents' front yard, art in evidence: ![]() Here's my mom and her weird new lap dog. I swear he is like a wussy sweet cat. My mom said "Oh, no, my hair is all weird and my face looks oily!" and I said, "hello, those are like our family motto - weird hair and oily skin- have you met us?! "![]() |

Here is me and my Dadlo. He has an ill advised mustache, which had never been there until a couple years ago, but who am I to tell my dad about his weird mustache?
![]() Here's me and mom. Y'all will know when I actually take a good picture, one in which I'm not a bulbous fat head, cause you will see the pigs fly outside your windowpane. So, I wasn't born with a good chin, that doesn't make me less of a person. Right? Right!? ![]() Here's my mom n' dad, and as always, the dogs. I love the dogs. ![]() Last edited by amber; 01-05-2007 at 03:29 AM.. |

Here's the yard Xmas lights, at Dusk. Obvioulsy, the yard looked way cooler than it seems here. Also there were lights inside the house, the whole Christmas pole was decorated.
![]() Here is cool blurry yard Xmas lights shot. Hey, I never claimed to be handy with a camera. ![]() Here are some shots of the little town. Literally, these are all the buildings on the main street. Behind these, there are some houses. It is so lovely, the small town. ![]() ![]() Here is a pic of my parents' road that I took while walking a dog. It is a really great road. So great that you are likely to see deer, and perhaps a coyote, and if you are lucky could even be attacked by a mountain lion! But not if you had a trusty dog with you, like I did. ![]() Here is the Mill that my dad works at, as seen through the trees of my parent's road. Not a great shot, but it is weird that the mill is "right there", mere blocks away. ![]() Okay, so those weren't the most exciting Xmas pics ever, but they are mine, and some coolness resides. I regret that I am not a better photographer, but not really. "I does what I can, for I am who I am" - Jack McFarland. Now, now I must go and sing loudly. Probably to Bella Donna. My relatives would be proud, singing loudly in general, and especially around Xmas things, is a family tradition. *sigh* California Italians, so out of place culturally with all the rest of the Italians in East states. We have to pretend to be quiet, PC, non emotional, and not crazy just to fit in here. It is a real struggle. And then we have to pretend that we know what people are talking about when they say "dieting"! It is almlost cruel. Imagine me going out in my life trying to pretend that I am not good old fashioned Italian crazy. It's like Tom Cruise saying he isn't gay.Last edited by amber; 01-05-2007 at 03:54 AM.. |
