While I agree that it's not up to par with many live Rhiannons, the "I don't change, and baby you don't change, and it's all the same....." lines save it for me.

You have seen Sisters of the Moon for this concert, right?

EDIT: Only watched the first 10 seconds of the vid without sound, thought it was from '82. Never mind then.

She clearly is saving her voice - actually, for much of Tusk that I heard she was way off key and flat. I blame it on the drugs.

Ooooh, ****, sorry! My screen is dark & I assumed this was the Mirage '82 In Concert version (I don't have speakers at work, so I just glanced at the vid real fast.) I stand corrected.

Don't be silly. Stevie never "forgot" the lyrics to Rhiannon.

I completely agree with this. I never thought she sounded good on the tusk tour. You can clearly tell that Rhiannon was butchered vocally. Sara was decent, but I really only like it from the Tusk Doc. SOTM I also thought was a bore on this tour....wasn't really kicked up until Mirage.

...and that hair :vomitizing smiley:

1 - wonder how much that hair weighs

2 - I friggin love the outfit

3 - Stevie has said in an interview she breathes steam before singing Rhiannon so why would she be saving her voice; I always considered Rhiannon THE performance of the show? you mean, like, saving it so she can continue on the tour?

4 - in conclusion, this is a fairly boring performance...for a second I thought she was doing one of her sexy, thrombostic, deep build versions, but that never actually came to fruition. but, for every boring performance, we have nearly 10 years of amazing, vocal shredding performances.

^^^^

The outfit is to die for, though I am not crazy about it for that particular song.

In the Tusk doc. outtakes, she goes into detail about the steam therapy (likely with eucalyptus or something like that) prior to the show. But, clearly in that performance, he voice is mostly dreadful in comparison.

And - bless my heart, CM bends the harmony in the chorus - and it KILLS me to say that

Of course, you're right. She just constantly thinks up new ones.

I do love the way she dressed in that era. And what I wouldn't give to see those boots again!

There is a scene with her fixing it that way - I think it is in the official Tusk doc - she says how if you have to think about it, it won't work. She likely had extensions.
