Well, um, what about Heart? Do you like them?
I forgot you might like the rodeo. Those things you said sound cool, I just don't like the roping, like the others said.
Anyway, you should go, else I would miss you. You always go.

Heart is ok. I'm sure if I saw them I would enjoy it.

Do you think they would do a full show or just a few songs?

There are some experts in this thread who would know. I've never seen them, and I've been meaning to for a couple years now. That is a good point, I wouldn't want them to do only a few songs.

I checked out last year's rodeo schedule and the performers all played for an hour to 1 1/2 hours following the rodeo thingy. Since tix are only $35-$40, I'm cool with an hour show. I paid $100 to see them do an 80 minute show last summer, so this will be a bargain.

So are we all on for this?

Okay I don't know if I'm the only one still interested in this Heart/Rodeo thing, but here's some info I got in an email. Weird that the stage will be 25 feet high?? Makes me not eager to get too close.
------------------------------------------------

Heart is playing the Cow Palace in Daly City, California on April 7th 2007.

They are the featured entertainment directly following the National Grand Rodeo.

All fanclub tickets will include a wrist band which will give you
access to the floor in front of the stage (there will be an area that
will allow you to go to the front before the general public is allowed
in. Please note that the stage is 25' high from the ground.

The Pre-sale will take place on Monday, January 15th at noon Pacific Standard Time and will end on Thursday January 18th at noon Pacific Standard Time. The public onsale is scheduled for January 20th.

We have two types of seats available. One is the "Dress Circle" and the other a "Box Seat".

Dress Circle Seats ~
All seats will be in sections 27, 25, 23 and 21 (which are Ann & Nancy's side of the stage) All seats sold in these sections are guaranteed to be between rows A and F. This is the closest thing you have to a general admission reserved seat. You will receive a wrist band that allows you access to the floor in front of the stage, and entrance to that area before the rest of the public. These seats are $39.00 and include the fanclub and venue fees. We have 100 tickets available. (limit 2 per member)

Box Seats ~

These tickets are for box seats. Box 55 and 59. These are
the closest seats to the stage and the floor. We have 18 of the
seats available. Limit 2 per fanclub member.

The price for these tickets are $44.00 which include the fanclub and
venue service fee's.

Tickets will NOT be mailed in advance, but can be picked up at the will call window on day of show. Reminder - there are no refunds on ticket sales.

You must be a paid fanclub member in order to access the password protected areas on the website and the presale.

See you on the road!

I went to the rodeo last year and they also had some concert after the rodeo part. I thought the stage was up near some of the seats at one end of the arena. I don't know if that makes sense but the stage was definitely high up.
