That's a great clip, and the whole episode was fanatstic - especially the end at the reunion when Suzanne gives a speech.

Day two of 2007 - went to the gym. I'm doing good

I'm now just waiting for the mad influx of people to arrive at the gym - which will most likely piss me off. The only bright side is they'll all go away within a month and us regulars can reclaim our territory

We have a nice rythym going now with apartment gym regulars...once in a while a stray gym goer screws things up - but it's mostly fine...

Of course I'm already two days behind the start of reading 8 weeks to optimum health....but it's still on my agenda

Yes, the first gym day after New Years Day is brutal. I just look around and think I won't be seeing 3/4 of these bitches in two months.

Mine was empty - two other regulars popped up as I was leaving...I was expecting the rush to hit today - but I'm still not optimistic that I'm out of the woods...but maybe apartment gyms are different than public ones...

Good gravy I hope so!

Drove to the gym in her apartment complex, that's a good one. My gym was packed as I suspected but was even worse than I thought it would be at 7:00 . I got everything done except my lateral abdominal muscles. Big whoop. I hope the newbies have already quit! That's terrible. Okay, some of them.

I added 10 minutes to my cardio for this year so I'm at 40 min. I keep trying to tell myself it's not that long and is no big deal. I seem to get easily overwhelmed by adding stuff. But seriously, it's 10 minutes. I can handle 10 minutes of just about anything!

yeah....I saw her pull up (I was on a bike - that's my thing - I do 30 min. on one machine, 15 on another)...and when she came into the gym I almost started laughing.

I added 15 to my cardio a while back, at first I too was overwhelmed..now it's nothing....it really flies by....you'll get used to it

That's as ridiculous as seeing the gym bunny outside of the gym yapping on the phone with a stanky ol' cigarette dangling from his/her mouth. I mean, what's the point of working on your cardiovascular health, when you are immediately destroying it afterwards?

The point is to look skinny and hot when you go out drinking and smoking. Speaking as a former gym bunny who lit up right when she got out of two hours at the gym...

Yeah...so after her "workout" she gets her ass back into the truck to drive a few feet back to her apartment. The weather isn't even bad - there is no excuse for that.

And she stole my machine

Swim a mile, smoke a cigarette.

Works for me.
