The way you did it must have worked for Jaz, though, and it sounds simpler.
Here is one link with instructions that also has the link to videora. It's not the site that told me, but it sounds right if you want to try it. Also fairly simple.

Seriously, you should try this. Unless you like talking to customer service a lot more than I do.

Ah - that may be a good thing to do - or go to their website and troubleshoot - it's probably something really simple that you're over looking (isn't that always the way it goes?)

But at least you can play music and stuff on it

Yah, it's easy. I guess I wasn't focusing on the fact that your ipod might be broken, though. But I don't think it is. Why? I dunno, I just don't. Good luck. I hate the frustration that comes with trying to fix/figure out ipod stuff. It has only happened a couple times, but I remember it vividly...and how happy I was when I finally got the video to play. Video ate up a lot of battery, but it was still fun. I was all "look! look at Stevie do this awesome thing in this awesome song!" to unsuspecting victims. Mwahahahahaha!

Yeah - and the fact that it plays music fine makes me think that there is nothing actually wrong with the pod - you just gotta figure out how to get the video thing going...with sound

I didn't know it was so difficult to get videos on those things....!
