Thanks! My mom was really into halloween, always made costumes. This is one of the simpler ones.

One year I was a totem pole, I had to wear a huge tube of cardboard, my mother had papier mached all the totem pole faces on the outside, and painted them...I couldn't really move...

Of course it's dripping with love, but you gotta admit that black, powder blue, maroon, and big bird yellow is a suspicious color combo. It's cool. I have one that is black white and red that looks straight off an outtake photo of OSOTM.

Okay, I swear I'll stop after this, but I love these pics, too. I guess these were all the same day, we went from basketball to softball, or vice versa. Fun day. I remember I loved that outfit I was wearing. We used to get together with family and friends sometimes and all go play softball. My parents were both on softball teams, too. And I was in a softball league.

Oh, btw, this was 1983, that magical year when Stand Back came out...everything was so sexy that year!
