I hope plenty of folks will watch the retrospectives about Saddam that will follow this evenings events. This guy was pure evil, as were his sons. No doubt that fact has been forgotten in favor of bashing Bush (which to be honest is SO tired!). At least in this country we are free to say whatever we will about our "leaders" and not fear torture and retaliation.... let alone mass genocide.

that's funny. I just heard a statement from Bush going on about how he got a fair trial but his victims didn't. it's a point but not one that bush should be making considering the government has tortured people in guantanamo bay and has held them without charge for years and without access to lawyers.

Thanks for letting us all know that we don't know enough about Saddam. I've been alive during his entire reign and know full well what an evil asshole he was. Our president is no different. I, for one will not stop bashing him here on this board or anywhere else for that matter. If you don't like the subject matter, you're free to ignore it.
